Salim Khan born (born 24 November 1935) is a scriptwriter and actor,and part of the scriptwriting duo Salim-Javed Akhtar.
The duo's first major success was Seeta aur Geeta (1972).They went on to write many successful films like Zanjeer(1973),Deewar (1975), Sholay (1975) and Trishul (1978).
Salim and Javed split up in the early 1980s. in this interview Salim Khan talks about originality, religion, earliest memories and Sholay.
