എന്റെ നാട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് 12 കിലോമീറ്റർ മാറിയാണ് ഈ സ്ഥലം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്നാലും ഞാൻ ഈയിടെയാണ് മണിക്കകിണർ അതുപോലെ മരുന്നിറയും എല്ലാം കണ്ടത് വീഡിയോയിൽ പറഞ്ഞപോലെ നിലപാടുതറ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാൻ ഒരുപാട് പാടുപെട്ടു അവസാനം നാട്ടുകാരിൽ ഒരാൾ ആണ് പറഞ്ഞത് ആ കാണുന്നതാണ് നിലപാട് എന്ന് അങ്ങനെ ആ ഗേറ്റ് എങ്ങനെയോ തുറന്ന് അവിടെ എത്തി നിലപാടുകളെയും മറ്റും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് ആകെ സങ്കടമായി കാരണം കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു സംസ്കാരത്തിന്റെ ബാക്കിയാണ് അവശേഷിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് ആരും മനസ്സിലാകാതെ പോയല്ലോ എന്റെ ഒപ്പം ഉള്ളവർ എന്നെ കുറെ കളിയാക്കി അവർക്ക് വലിയ താൽപര്യമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല ഞാൻ നിർബന്ധിച്ച് കൊണ്ടുപോയതാണ്. ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ അനാസ്ഥ തന്നെയാണ് ഇത്രയും വലിയ ഒരു സ്മാരകം അനാഥമായി പോയതിന് കാരണം

The state department of archeology is responsible for this sad situation of our historical sites. We, the so called literate Keralites are so poor in respecting and maintaining the signs of our glorious past. Please act before we loose it for ever....

I being a malayalee didn't even know about this unless I watched the movie Maamaangam...reason i was never told by my mom dad and we were nt brought up in kerala .same is the situation with those who live in our state ..how many of our kids know about this.To restore the monuments of the past the future generations should know their rich historical past.
