Man dead after being shot by police in Innisfil | CTV News Toronto at Noon for Aug. 16, 2024

- A 19-year-old man is dead, and another is fighting for his life in hospital after they were shot by South Simcoe Police in Innisfil on Thursday.
The Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which is now looking into the incident, said officers were called to a residence on Shoreview Drive around 3 p.m. for a family dispute.

Provinces get transfer payments from the federal gov. and make the rules for the health care system. The feds can do things like arrange for lower prices for various drugs, arrange for lower prices for hospital suppies, etc. But otherwise, the provinces are doing the actual managing ... that is what I understand is happening ...

A friend of mine was banging on his own door with a fire exituor
I think he lost his Key. They police came and used pepper spray. He had a deadly reaction and never recovered. He had skizopherenia putting at higher risk of death. Sadly the police were never charged or let go. Imagine he got shot for banging on his own door.
The end result is the same. The police are utterly Useless in these types of cases. The family also dealt with a suicide many years ago due to skizopherenia
