Didn't the interior get kind of white after a few days, because of alcool dehydration?!
If not that's a great tip, because when I do that I like the glossy finish of the interior plate, but yours turned out really great!

I've just had this exact problem, my watch just fogged up literally over night, I'll try this and see if it works

Thats awesome that you removed the casio logo! Is it possible to remove the glass so you can remove all the paint from the watch face?

lol at the "don't use paper towels because it is too abrasive", it might leave residue unlike the microfiber cloth, but I wouldn't call it too abrasive. Does anyone know how the faceplate/dial turned so glossy? My dw-6900 also got foggy and the dial became sticky and glossy, I managed to clean it off but I am still wondering what the cause is. Also, don't make the same mistake as this guy, clean the display too, I used 70 percent ethanol and it cleaned it nicely and didn't damage anything, and use some silicone grease on the gasket before closing...

Also, why is that “gunk” in there to begin with?

Wait till u get one old enough that the front plate is either pressed into the casing or is 1 molded piece that the crystal is press in the opposite way.

Sorry to see the “Casio” logo disappear. I think we have all made simple mistakes like that. It always sucks.

I have a brand new g shock and it always fogs up. I understand that it's somewhat unavailable because of hot and cold but it's annoying.

Brand new ones should do that…. Sure it’s new? Check you make sure the rubber gasket is in place and that all screws are tight.
