    Here is a simple recipe for making homemade desi ghee
    Ingredients:
    - Unsalted butter (preferably high-quality, grass-fed)
    Instructions:
    1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
    2. Once the butter is completely melted, reduce the heat to low. Allow the butter to simmer gently, watching carefully. It will start to foam and bubble.
    3. Continue simmering the butter, skimming off any white foam that rises to the top. The butter will gradually change color, going from yellow to a deeper golden hue.
    4. After about 15-20 minutes, the butter will stop bubbling vigorously, and the milk solids will have settled to the bottom of the pan, turning a deep brown color. This is the stage where the butter has been clarified and transformed into desi ghee.
    5. Carefully pour the clear, golden ghee through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any remaining milk solids.
    6. Allow the ghee to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container. Desi ghee can be stored at room temperature for several months.
