Hello dear friend, I always try to watch your awesome videos from a beautiful village of Iran, our village is located in the north of Shahrud ,its name is Abarsej,,anyway I got 65X80K this summer
Due to the heavy sanctions imposed on the people of Iran, the prices of goods including televisions are very expensive and variety of products is very low
for instance the TVS like SONY or Japanese brands or original brands that have relatively good picture quality have a very high price, almost equivalent to one year's salary of a worker and in some cases even more
The SONY KD 65X80K that I bought this summer of course my friend bought it for me from the south of Iran, because these Tvs are illegally smuggled by sea from the UAE into Iranian ports
Although the Model that I bought isn't very high end, but it has a relatively high price, almost equivalent to seven months' salary of a worker, and I have to say that it is impossible for a worker can be able to buy it
Dang tech Steve stepping up this year !!
Trying brother, you guys support is getting me there. Thanks
@@TechSteveeasy thing to support when quality content is being delivered on a regular basis 😌
I have the Sony x95k 85” and it’s been the best I ever had
How’s the upscaling and reflection handling?
I'm OLED always but this mini LED from Sony is impressive
Loving it. I love that all the hdmi ports are on the side.
Yeah, very clean design
Got the Sony X85K 43 inch for my bedrom thanks to Tech Steve. I really like this tv. The gaming on PS5 with the 120hz is incredible. Sony even just put out an update as well. Thank you Tech Steve. Bless.
There’s no 43 inch of the X95K ??
Very nice footage and unboxing review - pure quality! - and hands down best for this TV so far - so good I’ve subscribed straightaway - can’t wait for follow up!
Wow Steve your moving up! Happy for you man, keep up the good work 🙌🙌
Only with your support 👍🏽
The X95L is beautiful 💯👍🏾
Agreed
Bigger is better! Glad to see it ✅
Amazing TV to watch movies and play games.
Great video buddy. Monster TV😊😊😊😊
9:00 even with a PS5, it will not select VRR, Dolby Vision, or Enhanced format automatically. You still have to select a specific one manually even if the HDMI setting is on Standard Format. The PS5, however, will select the picture mode automatically to “GAME” as a function of ALLM (auto low latency mode).
Cool
I love your TV reviews man
Wow, thanks for your support
I’ve never watched this channel but you do good uboxings🎉
So welcome
Nice video keep up the good work Tech Steve
As always I appreciate it brother
nice TV i currnetly have a 75 inch philips miniled from 2021 which is great this thing would be a nice bump up. the price is insane though
Let’s go Steve just got that QM8 and I love it.
Great TV
Hey Steve is that X95L massive lol ha ha ha ha it looks big like a mutha jumper. 😊😮😮😊
In this TV model does the VRR gaming mode affect the local dimming function? Great review!
WOW Steve!! Go BIG or go home!!! Nice to see you doing the bigger tv;s. I hope you can do the TCL Q7 tv sometime in a large size like this!! Keep the video's going!!!
Who knows what the future holds
beautiful 😍
Now that's a NICE Sony TV!
Lol, yes it is
Great review as always brother!!
Thanks
*Epic Opening Music*
Thanks brother
Which one is better min iLED or OLED ?
Thanks for taking the time to demo the TV tuner. This part of any modern TV does not get much coverage these days. This built-in guide probably has more to do with Sony and Gracenote (for the metadata) than ATSC 3.0, correct? I am wondering if you know if the guide is also built-in to the X93L model. The user manual I found online was not much help.
Sorry I didn’t review that one
I don't know about America but in Europe the TV comes with 2 remotes and one of them is back lit.
Waiting for complete review. I didn't see review of 85" version at all so you will be the first
Steve in the big league division now 85 inch is a big A tv. 😮😮😮
It’s much harder to film and move around but why not
Very nice. Can’t wait for the full review!
It will be 3 part mini series instead of a full review
@@TechSteve Even better 👍🏻
Nice, when can we expect the other two parts to go live on your channel
@Arjun-bg5vz stay tuned I’m still filming
@@TechSteve would be great to see a comparison of X95L with top QDOLEDS - S95C and LG G3
Be great to see this against the qm8. Keep up the good work
This TV is so large, I’m not setup for that right now
Great unboxing and overview. The only thing that makes me hesitant to buy a sony tv is due to their lacking of hdmi ports which supports VRR.
I understand,but the picture tho
Best Buy is bringing this to me Saturday. Went for the 93L at first , decided to decline my order and paid a little more for the this 95L . President day sale decent we shall see . Coming from oled still owning a G2 in another room . Thanks for this 3 part video
I’m telling you get a 4K Apple TV as well
@@TechStevemost definitely I already have the latest version of the Apple TV 4K, it’s my main source of viewing content
@blackscorp cool, I use mine is SDR mode but you know how you like it.
@@TechSteveof course I set mines to sdr also but I have it set to match whichever format content is being displayed on screen . Hope I like the tv . I’m coming from upgrading my LG CX 77. Tried the Samsung flagship s95C 77 , Two LG G3 77. And current LG C3 83. Decided I’m going to try a top of the line Mini LED instead and chose this x95 85. I hope I like it I’m pretty defeated with all the tv madness . Didn’t think upgrading in 24 was going to be a journey.. I have confidence in this Sony x95,..
@blackscorp you will get use to the colors that everything else looks just ok. But you have to justify, I have the 65” c3 in my bedroom and it’s good too
Great review! Is the display glossy or semi-gloss?
I’ll have to check on the part 2
I can't understand the decision to only sell 85 inch in America I'm sure the 75 and 65 would have sold really well
The UK models say X95L all through. from 65 inch to 85 inch. While the us versions have x93L. IS there any difference???
I need this!
Well they are available
Waiting till Black Friday.
Is this now better than Z9D???
I have a feeling that you are going to want to keep this one Steve.
Yeah, it’s replacing the 75” LG QNED90 that’s Ive been using for years
Does this tv have filmmaker mode? And what’s the main difference between filmmaker mode and imax enhanced ? Thanks
No film maker mode
WOW!!!! Stud!!
Not me, just a little ole creator over here.
take allot of faith on the bracket to mount this!!!!!!
Yes, very scary stuff. I can’t imagine hearing a loud crash in the middle of the night.
Is the power cord removable from the TV, as in is it soldered to the tv or can we remove and swap our own power cable in?
Come on I showed on the video
@@TechSteve Mate, i watched all 3 parts of your video fully without skipping. All you said was the power cord was already attached & you pointed to it, I am asking if it is HARDWIRED TO THE TV or can users removed the cord from the tv and swap in their own cables if they wish to.
I appreciate it, it’s attached. You wouldn’t believe how many people ask questions without watching any footage. Now that I think about it I cut that part out
3:00
@@TechSteve Cheers.
Steve, can you ask Sony if a 55" or 65" will be released in the USA, it's available in Europe in those sizes. Sometimes I just don't understand Sony's marketing strategy?
I don’t see any plans, they told me 85” only in the US
@@TechSteve Thanks
👍👍
All my OLEDS are thin and on the wall. Not fragile at all once its on the wall. Looks modern and stunning. Thick looks outdated.
OLED makes me nervous when handing
inb4 burn in
@@TechSteve no need to be nervous. Just hold it correctly and mount it to the wall. Easy.
@Esignn I’m good, i use to be a home theater installer
Steve, any chance you might compare the X95L to the QM8?
No plans at this time, it’s more complicated than you think with these huge TVs besides on only have a 65” qm8
@@TechSteveso true bc 85 is just massive… people don’t understand anything north of 70 inch is huge and requires help
Thank you, I can’t use my studio until my assistant comes back it’s too heavy to temporarily move. It stops video production for sure, that’s why I use to only review 43” but those day are over.
When is X90L video dropping
Wow, i don’t know i posted that I was going to get or film it
Sony is still the king of image processing/smoothness right?
It’s what you think, everything is personal opinion.
@@TechSteveDon’t make Sony cut you off the 85 inch demo list ROFLMFBO!! Shhhh
Steve the flog is not full screen it's really small can you look into it
Huh?
@@TechSteve The picture on the tv was smal really small sorry restart CZcams on the PS4
Anyone experiencing this? My remote batteries drain way too quickly my TV is not even 1 month old
at the rate that the budget brands are going itd be a waste to buy a new led tv this year. next years equivelent of the hisense ux should be alot more affordable and is going to put oled factories out of buisness. sony and samsung need to catch up or theyll be left behind
🤤🤤
A little disappointed you had all of that testing equipment and didn't give us any solid numbers on the Hisense amd TCL. Some benchmarks really would have improved those videos.
How do you know when I purchased everything? If you ever calibrated a TV it take 5-10 hrs in some cases not fun at all.
@@TechStevedo you calibrate yourself? That is serious work
@playafly131 I’m learning how to, I just setup the laptop and purchased a color checker . If I get good at it I will add settings to the membership because it take hrs to do. And a few views wouldn’t cover the cost of time. I will test the concept 1st, lucky calman are letting me trial their $3500 calibration suite for a few months
@@TechSteve I take it back then, I was just shocked to see that equipment when the TCL and Hisense didn't get that treatment. Best of luck!
@3DavidA12 you could have ask if I had equipment before versus assuming. I’m growing the channel and the Sony has Auto calibration that’s why i even did it. TCL and Hisense I still have to learn because it’s overall a manual setup where you have to tweak everything color by color in the calibration menu and it takes hrs I’ll tell you.
