Ficus Benjamina - from cutting to bonsai

does this over winter under grow lights bonsai boise? my benj does i havde no issues rooting cuttings anytime of the year. (zone 6a north east us here)

Is this a good ficus variety for bonsai? I have one and it keeps oozing this sticky substance (it's sap, I'm guessing)....

It's not coming from the ficus but from a mite or other invasive pest

I ended up giving this to a friend as a gift. But, I believe they didn't water it enough and it died. Kind of a shame.
