Nice little snake you have there!! I have many pets but I love my molluscs and amphibians the most. I have four pet giant african land snails called Gary(jade), Luna(albino), Gigantor(achatina fulica), Tiny (tiger) and Coco (mixed species).As well as that I have around 50 of their babies which are for sale!! :) As well as that I have an older tank outside with three garden snails I found and named Twitch, Torch, and Turner. I also have a newt called Nova and four frogs called Lady, (Big) Bertha, Sprite, and a new one which I got on Halloween called Boo (All female lol!). I will be sure to keep watching your vids! (Sorry for the looonnnggg list lol! ^_^)
You can train garter snakes to eat strips of meat out of a food dish. I rub strips of meat with an earthworm and after a few feeds i no longer have to rub the earthworms on the strips of meat.
That piece of fish is like, a sixth of your snake's size. Imagine eating a burger the size of your head and neck. Dang.

Do you supplement the fillet with calcium powder and/or vitamin b1? Fillets don't usually have bones so there is no calcium.
