    The most common Armored Core 6 advice are tips that usually revolve around build knowledge, which arm and shoulder units to equip in certain situations, boosters, etc. But some weirdos look for more practical tips, speedrun strats, and various helpful techs that go much further than just using zimmermans.
    Hi. I’m some weirdos, and this is 1 Quick Tip For Every Boss in Armored Core 6.

      I find the coral oscillator very effective against ALLMIND BOSS and WALTER so I run with Oscillator plus the redshift nebula and two stun needles.. somehow the ALLMIND BOSS cna be cheesed up by spamming fully charged oscillator on the right timing and then using right arm weapon to quickly stagger them preferably a high staggering mid range weapon then stun needle the shit out of it

      None of the enemies there are resistant to explosives, so missiles, grenade launchers and bazookas will usually deal with them quickly.
      The MTs circle around in consistent curve so Missiles have a very easy time chasing them around. They also have a habit of stopping after a certain time, so you can blast them with a launcher or bazooka during that window.
      For the Wheels, missiles can also chase them easily when they're rolling away from you while bazookas and grenade launchers can catch them when they're turning or charging at you.

    • @Tsuchiryu
      @Tsuchiryu Před 4 měsíci

      Late reply, but for those still struggling with that mission, a missile carpet tetrapod build is the best for that mission. Keep hovering at around 200 altitude or so and focus on one at a time, waiting for the missile lock-on to conclude before firing. That same build also works great against O'Keeffe.

    • @julmdamaslefttoe3559
      @julmdamaslefttoe3559 Před 3 měsíci

      Explosives, and a lot of em, Dont have to perma hover so you dont need tetrapod but hovering for 10+ seconds helps, Dual Large Rocket launchers and grenade launchers, did the job, Even the zimmer/Lance combo failed. only time ever.

    A few more things:
    1: If you picked up the laser blade in Chapter 1, switch back to the Pulse Blade for Balteus. It being in the pulse category allows it to do extra shield damage. Same applies to Arquebus and Ayre.
    2: When Allmind transitions to its third phase, both Spiders will be instakilled along with Ayre. So long as you know how to dodge their plasma attacks, you can save your ammo for Allmind.

    • @QuestionableObject
      @QuestionableObject Před 7 měsíci +2

      All melee weapons actually have PA intereference, not just the pulse blade

    • @igor_kossov
      @igor_kossov Před 7 měsíci +2

      Also, the laser blade is a piece of shit just generally.

    • @gengarisnotinsmash...
      @gengarisnotinsmash... Před 7 měsíci +2

      It wouldn't work for Ayre because her shield is coral, not pulse, so PA interference won't work. This actually applies to you as well, using coral generators changes expansions to coral, meaning pulse protection/armor and terminal armor are now coral based and are not affected by PA interference. Assault armor also goes from pulse to coral, which is arguably a downgrade because one of its best uses in PVP is to instantly break pulse protection shields.

    @Dessiekens Před 8 měsíci +99

    if your fast enough in damaging allmind igauzu in the second phase, you can also ignore the c-spiders altogether when he goes to his third phase since they'll be destroyed automatically, as i found trying to deal with the spiders first was more difficult, as arye often aggroed onto one of the spiders, which leaves allmind free to butt fuck your ac while you try to ignore them

    • @kirbyis4ever
      @kirbyis4ever Před 7 měsíci +1

      I've found that whenever you have backup they'll go into a 1v1 with whatever extra enemy is there or at least draw fire until you try to interfere, at which point they focus on you instead. Rusty does a great job drawing aggro from the high mobility LC or the HC - same for Kate drawing aggro against the Cataphract and one of the Ekdromoi

  • @KazSlacksOff
    @KazSlacksOff Před 7 měsíci +6

    For the G4 Volta and G5 Iguazu, you can also agro them and fall back to the tetrapod you needed to kill for combat logs (on the waterfall to the right of the spot when you make the choice to attack them). The tetrapod will be a bigger help than the RLF MTs in the map.
    For the final Iguazu fight, ignore the Sea Spiders in the second phase since they have piss poor accuracy and they automatically die when Iguazu reaches 50% hp anyway. If you're having trouble chasing him down to stagger him, Missiles can actually track him quite easily because he stops dodging like a normal AC.

    Pretty nice. Wish I knew them, before a number of frustrating trial and error attempts :D
    IB-01:C actually pretty bad vs active homing missiles. It may zip around quite fast, but with ungodly long time something like BML-G3 P05FCN-02 can chase the target, the moment boss stops, it inevitably takes all 4 rockets up its tight coral exhaust and gets stunned. Pair BMLs with FCS-G2 P10SLT for quicker missile lock on, maybe add the lazor lance to quickly close the distance and capitalize on stuns.

    A note on V.III O'Keefe- it is possible to kite him down to the pit at the bottom of the arena, near the worm cave (which is blocked off by an invisible wall). For a melee-only run, this is crucial. He doesn't like dropping his hover mode, so he'll get caught in the rocks and pinned with successive attacks.

  • @Fauix
    @Fauix Před 7 měsíci

    I got a few of my own
    Sea spider: when the spider does the big slam attack, you can pretty consistently dodge it by going towards it, through its legs, as opposed to going up or away
    Nepenthes: Put on a high energy resistance frame and a shield and you can sit in the little nook where the bridges meet the center platform and fall straight down. Yoh will barely get hit and what does hit you you will barely feel.
    Allmind/Iguazu: Missiles + Hard lock + Run away = kekw. Double hand missile + double coral missile (hidden part you get on the mission just before) with a heavy frame, coral gen, and the ng001 thrusters for vertical performance and just go up and down while back strafing to dodge everything

  • @Blakobness

    I did the exact opposite for fighting All Mind Iguazu, his buddies in phase 1 can be very disruptive if you focus him down directly, and the Sea Spider lites actually don't do all that much in phase 2 and can be fully ignored. @Blakobness Před 7 měsíci

      @@eljoven732 The Ibis, Ayre, and All Mind Iguazu fight are all boss battles where I felt I had to change my strategy to overcome them. Instead of being aggressive and chasing them down, playing more defensively and making distance and waiting for openings more like a Souls game was a more helpful strategy.
      The melee attacks are what usually gets me, so I would try to mostly stay grounded until I see one coming and try avoiding by jumping at the last moment using reverse joints, combining with quick boosting back and to the side, or jumping and trying to cross over them. Sometimes they just have way too good tracking, you'll have to play around with the timing.

If you take out all the snipers first, moving in a box shape from right, pushing to the one on the highest tower, dashing to the furtherest one from there then taking the one out on the center you are near a cluster of 3 xylem defense droids, these can be more effective if your generator doesn't recover as quickly or you aren't using tetrapod legs. I used this with the spring chicken legs to almost always hide in the city then apply pressure. When stunned the droids do help out a lot and I only had to 2 stun it twice to take it out.

      the vod should be viewable on my profile

    Use horizontal plasma missiles during the Nile fight to clear the MT's.
    In fact, as someone that got the plat, if you're dealing with lots of MT's, just use those horizontal plasma missiles every time. They have fast reload and targeting (the fastest, targetting, actually), a massive ammo pool, can target 6 enemies, and are a guaranteed one-shot against all MT's and Normals. You don't even need a good missile-focus on your FCS.
    The missile platform and tower defense missions are a joke with them. The only time they don't work are in the "Survey the Uninhabited Floating City" against those little bird drones. They move too fast.

    The ALLMIND Iguazu fight is easily my favorite boss in the game and as such I've done it like 30+ times with a huge assortment of different builds, so I'd figured I'd add my own set of tips for the fight:
    Phase 1: I seriously recommend taking out the mooks first as they can really get in the way when you try to go after Iguazu. Iguazu himself plays super passively and doesn't really do a whole lot so once the mooks are gone he's really simple to deal with. This phase is easily the most annoying part as if you don't take out the mooks they will interrupt you when going after Iguazu by ganging up on you and using their blades and Assault Armor. It is incredibly annoying and will happen to regardless of whatever build you are using, especially if you're using a hyper aggressive melee build with stuff like the Lance, Pile Bunker or Chainsaw where they will consistently knock you out of your animations. Those kind of builds can ignore the mooks through how fast they can defeat him, but I tend to just play it safe and destroy at least a handful of them.
    Phase 2: In my opinion this is the easiest part. I start the fight by standing with Ayre at the start and forcing Iguazu to come to me. Ayre likes to drop Pulse Protection when you do this and that can save you a lot of AP should she choose to drop it. It also puts her in range to be able to hit Iguazu much more easily which is a massive help giving how much damage she can actually deal. Then just focus and tail after Iguazu while ignoring the Sea Spiders. From my experience the Sea Spiders tend to pose very little threat in the grand scheme of things and if you simply rush down Iguazu and dodge accordingly.
    Phase 3: This is by far the hardest part and arguably the hardest boss in the game, which is fitting. Seeing how this is a boss similar to CEL-240 in that it just launches a ton of attacks that you have to be able to react to quickly enough, I don't have many tips for this. To be frank, I don't even know how to dodge everything here, when I get to this phase it often times feels like my hands are playing the game by themselves without any input from my brain and I could not describe to you what I was doing. What I can definitively say is that during this and the second phase he has a gigantic hitbox that likes to get hit by anything meaning you can squeeze more hits than you think. As such the Truenos are fantastic for this, but personally my fastest runs of this fight were from using Chainsaw builds bizarrely enough. I definitely don't recommend trying that if it's your first time trying to beat the boss, but I do recommend trying it at some point because I think it's a lot of fun.

      You see I have no problem getting to the 3rd phase without healing and I basically have the same strategy as you mentioned for the first two phases but the 3rd is ridiculous 😩 he hits me even when he didn't hit me and almost every time he does hit me I died instantly. I even had the pulse armor once and he chunks me down in 2 hits that I just can't dodge even when I dodge

    • @involuntaryanalysis

      Some advice for Phase 3: The biggest danger is his melee swipes and flying charge. There are two methods; First method - Equip boosters with high vertical thrust, and simply fly over his head, and drop STRAIGHT down, quick boost back under him, and back up, but the most reliable way I've found to dodge this is to bait the attack in the air, and while dropping straight down as he approaches quick boost towards and slightly left (Iguazu's right.) MOST OF THE TIME, his swipes will whiff right over your head, timing doesn't have to be frame precise, but you can't be too off. If you can manage to stay directly beneath, or directly above him, those will be your safest positions, as his melee attacks have crappy vertical tracking. Another thing you can do, in an emergency, but you can't rely on it, bait a melee swipe, and hit him with assault armor to stagger and punish, but if you don't hit the stagger your screwed, because the assault armor animation is enough that you won't be able to dodge the incoming attack, high risk, high reward. Beyond that, most of his attacks aren't to much to worry about, just don't tank them with your face. Safest method is to stick fairly close to him and get as many staggers as possible. I find dual Ransetsu RF to be VERY effective for this fight, as well as a dual cell 8-way split missiles, and a coral oscillator. Personally, I used The HAL 826 but replaced the generator with the VP-20C, aside from that, a standard HAL 826, yeah I lose the bonus damage on my blade, but the additional energy efficiency is worth the tradeoff.

    Tbh while I do like the Swinburne tip, it's frankly even funnier to straight up erase him with a charged pilebunker while he's in the middle of making his offer & after his pulse shield self-drains from him utterly wasting the thing. Granted you'll probably need Basho arms to deal enough damage, but with roughly 50% of his AP bar remaining the bunker should be able to ice him even without being ACS broken. I straight up laughed my butt clean off for a good 5 minutes in disbelief when I first did it, it was utterly glorious. lol

I often pair it with two stun needles its surprisingly very good on PVE with mid rand close range FCS it just stun locks everything and also deals decent quick damage you will never retry any boss again.. except for ayre though it seems shes still difficult tbh i find ayre to bw the most difficult final boss took me atleast 20 tries compared to walter and allmind which i finished in one run

    I feel like because of how the movement feels in this game, players think that it's way more of a fast paced combat system than it actually is. Just keep in mind that just because you have so much going on during fights doesn't mean you have to let it overwhelm you, that's what the CPU is aiming to do.
    This game is fast paced yes, but not enough that don't have enough time to think about your next move on the fly

    There's a handful of glaring omissions from the boss list and I think if you were gonna make the tips this build dependent you probably could've just made a build for each boss and explained how to use them. Feels odd to do an in between when either of the alternatives seem to click better.
    I appreciate the effort you're putting into covering this game but I think so far a lot of it's been very surface level and a little ignorant to the emotional "core" (ha) of the game. It really shouldn't come up in a best to worst ranking of the bosses that you just didn't really pay attention to the dialogue. Totally fair, neither does AboveAverageGaming, but I feel like you could at least call it "easiest to hardest" and be honest about it.
    Really love your content usually, and there's a pretty close to 0% chance that you read this, but I hope you do, because I really do love your content, and I wish AC got the same amount of care your other videos seem to have in spades.
