Rainworld and hollow knight, based list, any list with rainworld is based but throwing hollow knight in is even better

How to judge a good games list: a tutorial
1- look if there's outer wilds in it, if the answer is yes, it's based
Played all of these except for Hades, Sky, and Omori. All these games are 100% peak though and my personal favorite is Outer Wilds.

if you want to play omori, do it completely blind and only search spoiler free guides if you get stuck, trust me, it'll be worth it
To be honest, Sky is basically a more social version of Journey. Its made by the same developers. Its honestly more of a social platform than a traditional game. It has the exact same structure as Journey, ending and all.

Omori is one of my favorite games of all time, and has one of the best soundtracks a game could offer. 10/10 would recommend.
rain world is probally the most underrated game off all time, its not my favorite but i think its insane how overlooked this game is
overlooked? it was one of the most notable titles of last year like completely
you could not look anywhere on the internet without seeing rainworld
and that doesn't make it overrated though it was aptly rated
@@blue_birb i was always on indie games, and i had never even heard of rainworld until like 6 months ago, i am not saying that its not famous, but its not even close to how popular hollow knigth or outer wilds (my favorite game) is. im glad its getting more recognition

I know i look like a mega nerd with my pfp but i do wish you talked about celeste a lil bit more.
the difficulty is definitiely an important aspect, especially with how it works into the story, but i think the art, story and music (lena raine the goat frfr) are what makes it my favourite game of all time

frfr tho celeste would only be a fraction of what it is if the music and story didnt go so hard, i hate platformers and the only reason i played celeste was i heard someoje online go "oh the story is p good" and its one of my fav games. literally came for the story and stayed for the b sides farewell and (most of) the c sides 🙏🙏

gotta love how the first time i saw this thumbnail i looked into the character pile for anything outer wilds related and didn't see anything and i didn't end up just looking to the right
OneShot is definitely one of the hidden gems that need more exposure, thanks for bringing it up, amazing game ♥. Overall this list has most of my favorite indie games, very nice video.

omg this games list is soooo good. Hades, both ori games, and hyper light drifter are next in line for me to play. I just got into subnautica and am really looking forward to below zero when i can get it. ive played some of celeste, outer wilds, rainworld, and one shot, but love what Ive played so far. And hollow knight is one of my most played games. I think dead cells and VVVVVV would also fit really well here.

really good editing and I guess my Indie game opinions are shared by more people than I thought lol. Hollow knight and outer wilds are kinda no brainers, but hyper light and rainworld caught me off guard they don't get enough love.

- Gris, an amazing beautiful adventure of a girl dealing with loss
- Will you snail, a puzzle platformer where an AI tries to kill u
- Neon white, a 3D fast paced platformer with a FPS twist on it

I love how ori, hollow knight and rain world (baba is sheep is kinda the middle child of the quartet) all have such a well built interconnected fan base. I’ve beaten all of them to the best of my ability (except the ori sequel, working on that…) and they all flow together so smoothly. Loved each of them, I need a lttm plushie tho.

There are only 5 games in this list that I haven't played, and i loved every game that i did play. This is the list i needed in my life
I'd recommend trying out Planet Crafter! It's like Subnautica but on Mars. Unfortunately there's no danger aspect but it's a fun exploration and literal world building game :)
Everything past oneshot I haven’t played, but they’re on my list, a good list for sure
6:20 "don't get the switch version"
As someone who played the switch version and suffered because of it, I can relate. Really feel like I would've liked the game much more if I hadn't played it on the switch (clipping through walls may be funny, but it loses its charm when you get frozen in the village once for 10 MINUTES)
Same here, I just dropped Wotw the other day and was surprised by how disappointed I was with it, yeah, I think the frame drops and glitches were a big part of that. Really wish I didn’t pick it up for switch :(

these are some wonderful games that i already played (beside of rainworld and oneshot, but ill give them a better view!) and i can also recommend them all.
I have a feeling that theres games like Hollow Knight, What remains of Edith Finch, all Giant Squid games, Dave the diver, spiritfarer, cult of the lamb, inscription, the messenger (this list can get very long if i continue) in your part 2/3/4 ;) ?

if you like narrative rpgs like omori and one shot, i would reccommend in stars and time. its a timelooping rpg, set at the end of a journey
This is an INSANELY good list
I really hate how hyper light drifter is completely overshadowed. I'm in this stage of if I should gatekeep or not, it's a hidden gem that is very fun and no one is talking about it.
Omori OST is honestly one of my favorites soundtracks ever. Up there with Metroid Prime, Secret Of Mana & Persona 4 Golden.
This is THE list! Everyone should play every game on this list. 10/10
You talked about video game ost's, I wanna drop a huge shoutout to the Xenoblade Chronicles games, I've listened to dozens upon dozens of soundtracks and I really put Xenoblade 1 and 2 at the top for me. Other favourites of mine are Fire Emblem Echoes, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers, Terraria: Calamity Mod, Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default 2 and Nier: Automata (as well as replicant)

Many of these are well agreed upon. Hyper light gets slept on still for some reason. Great for anyone who likes Fez, Hollow Knight, Tunic, or any other secret-heavy indie 10’s
I played almost all of them (Subnautica and OneShot are my second and third favourite games from all time). I really need to play Outer Wilds tho
So have you heard about Crosscode? What about VoidStranger? Because I played and enjoyed pretty much every game you talked about. Maybe you would like those

Hades 2 (early access) is phenomenal.... go play it. (Its already very polished, and id say about equally large as hades 1, with more content planned to come out)
Hk and Rw are like the best games ever
Hollow Knight isn't the "Dark Souls of metroidvanias" because of the difficulty or bosses, it is because of the feeling of hopelessness you have when you play it.
W takes. Except for Sky which I had never heard of (though I was like : "looks kind of similar to journey" just before the mention that it was indeed by the same developers) and hades which I don't really feel keen about playing (isaac GOAT anyways) ; everything mentioned I have played or is on my wishlist.
Bet part 2 has like Tunic or great stuff like that. Maybe Sekiro even, though it doesn't seem like the type of game that fits the rest that were mentioned but I feel like it is really underappreciated compared to elden ring or dark souls and maybe part 2 does it justice.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Sky, Rain World and Hollow Knight for sure, they're all such incredibly special games for different reasons, they're all so different from one another, but they're so special in their own ways.
Rain World especially feels so hecking unique and unlike any other game I've ever played before, the community is awesome, too! AHHH It's really hard, but it's so good, oh my god ;w; ALL of these games are! I 100% recommend trying them out, personally, Rain World didn't click with me at first, but I tried it again and pushed forwards and now it's one of my favourite games of all time! ^^

Pretty much one at a time yeah, never really cared too much about achievements (did eventually get them all in Hollow Knight and Rain World tho).

It’s been over a year since I beat Omori for the first time and not a single game came close to what this game made me feel. OneShot maybe, but I liked Omori better in most aspects

Based on the fact that you talk about these gems, I wanna recommend you play Wuppo and Everhood if you haven't heard about them. Both are less knows than the ones you talked about but both are reaally good and I think you'll like them

It has the two best games of all time so it's based, outer wilds and ori! Also Subnautica, hyper light drifter and rain world are fucking epic! I'd add SOMA, blasphemous, death's door, cocoon, carrion, inside, journey, the last faith, kotor and the old battlefronts 😊
