- The Blue Period manga is a work of art that showcases the realities of hard work and chasing a passion.

A lot of the music is from the Kaguya-Sama soundtrack. (Why is it so good?!!)
Don't read this next part ok :)
This is an analysis and review of the blue period manga where I talk about what makes it good. Blue period is written by Tsubasa Yamaguchi and is about art and artists working towards art school in Japan. The Blue Period anime came out but it is bad, but it does have a good intro song or opening song called Everblue by Omoinotake. Lines in motion also made a video on the dichotomy between talent and hard work and it is very good so go check that out if you liked this manga or anime analysis and review. Yatora Yaguchi is cool and so is Maki and Ryuji.

Hey guys, I've been getting comments about it, so I just wanna say that I regret saying the anime is bad at the end of the video. I definitely should've explained myself better instead of adding that at the end. I still do think that the manga is a better experience than the anime, but the anime is still great too. I was just upset that it wasn't exactly the adaptation that I wanted.
I actually watched the anime and really enjoyed it , so now I want to read the manga even more lol.
Having been throught multiple art schools and working in art, before stopping because of the lack of job stability, I have felt like a fail artist for a few years bow and have been having trouble restarting to draw. Blue period helped me a lot with processing my feelings as an artist.
Definitely considering buying the manga now
Yeah the manga just hits so much harder. It allows the emotional scenes to shine a lot more
@@NitsuaVids I found out about Blue Period because of the anime and enjoyed it a lot. I'll be sure to start on the manga now. Thank you.
"I don't want to be a crappy version of another CZcamsr. I just want to be Nitsua, and make the type of videos that only I can make."
That line really hit me hard. As an artist myself, Blue Period encompasses struggles and experiences that I could never talk to my mostly non-artist friends about. I work consistently to improve my skills but often get discouraged when I feel like I'm not going anywhere. Then I hear quotes like this and encounter media like Blue Period and get inspired to make my own unique work again.
Thanks for the vid. This is the first of yours I've seen and I'm definitely impressed! Keep it up!
You guys have to go listen to YOASOBI’s Gunjo (Ultramarine). It’s based on Blue Period and some lines in the song are lifted right out the dialogue. It’s beautifully put together.
The First Take CZcams recording has the best translation to the song.
It's sucks that the anime doesn't stand up to the manga, but maybe it's better that way 'cause the manga is absolutely worth of reading. I really resonate with all the characters in blue period as well, it inspires me to do better and go forward to make my own path in creative space 💪💪💪
Also this was great analysis and very well edited!!
I wasn't bothered by the anime at all. Then again I started with it and then bought the manga.
What I really loved in Blue Period was the commentary made on talent and hard work, and how a lot of people don't even take into consideration what it takes to get to a certain level
Great video
The anime just doesn’t have the same emotional impact because a lot of the scenes were poorly constructed and the music was un-fitting. Also it skipped around the story in a weird way
Oh man, that section on creative burnout really hits home for me too. While it's a bummer to feel that way, it's cool that it's not just yourself going through it. Great video and I see you are an intellectual as well using Davinchi resolve.
The goat editing software… ok maybe I’m just broke
not me watching this video as my passion for art that I had for years has become almost non-existing..... im definitely going to read this manga, thank you.
The clips, the description of the plot, mixing of colors what the characters go through in this video reminds me of my small talks as a kid with my old man about his passion for art.
Shout out to my Art students for putting me on. College really cuts into my time to read manga all day.
Shout out to Nitsua for not quitting. New subbie.
Great analysis bro! You're putting me on so much good stuff fr, really appreciate your work^^
I gotchu bro
thanks for putting me on this looks like a good read
You won’t regret it
Hottest Pokémon tier list release date?!??!!!?!!
I think I just found a new gem of a channel here! Thank you algorythm gods, I will value this channel. Keep going man, love your vid!
I will say, awesome video. Though, I wish you further explained the point about not enjoying the anime adaptation. Coming from someone who also shared experiences present in the story as someone who went to university to pursue art, I thoroughly enjoyed the show and thought it was still really insightful looking into things like finding inspiration when needed most and how intense personal experiences shape pieces.
Great quality, can’t wait for your next vid 😩🙏🤤🤤
😩
I will love to see this Channel explode in popularity the next few month. Great work!
You are on you way man. Thanks for this. Keep at it.
Really enjoy your videos. I found you when looking up Slam Dunk and never really thought to compare you to other CZcamsrs. Keep doing your own thing.
hottest pokémon tier list?!
Oooh an art manga ^^ theres usually manga for sports and music. Looks like a fresh theme
Grats on Another great quality video! Keep up the video grind man!
Keep up the good work, you are doing great.
awesome bro, underrated channel
this video is value! will check out the manga
OK after some reflection, I see what you mean about the anime. I still don't think it's "bad" but there are definite flaws, that if I'm being honest, even I noticed without having read the manga.
Subbed
looking forward to reading it.
I love everything about this video exept the last sentence. Don’t skip the anime if you haven’t watched it. It’s all up to taste of which medium you enjoy the most which one you prefer🤗
I don't know much about other CZcamsrs, but the fact that you decided to share Blue Period, JJK and Slam Dunk, three of my all-time favorites, with the world, this alone already makes you stand out to me. And I will watch Samurai Champloo because of you. I found your channel half an hour ago and at this point in time I trust your taste so much you could easily make me watch the ultimate ecchi mecha harem.
You should watch boku no pico
@@NitsuaVids Very bold of you to assume I haven't. I might look uncultured because I haven't seen Samurai Champloo - that's my fault, I admit it - but my unculturedness has a limit.
Thank you for the recommendation though. This only cements the idea that your taste is immaculate.
What was that piano, balled track you just played. I love reading my manga as I listen to tracks like these. Already watching the Anime, I’m planning on reading the definitive edition and need a good track to listen to.
Great video!
I am looking forward to reading the manga more than ever now!
I only watced the anime and i actually really liked it. It was fun motivating and relateble but i guess i will have to start the manga.
honestly I'm an anime-only rn but all I hear is "it sucks! the manga's so much better!" haha, I really want to read it at some point
I kinda think this channel is gonna blow up
hope u keep making videos man. ur videos are quality, u will get more subs soon
Thanks man
The anime was great, it's one thing to say that the scenes didn't have as much impact as the manga. But even if we ignore the cognitive bias that you experienced the manga's scenes first, all this means is that the anime's experience is subpar against the manga. And sure there are cuts, but that's the price to pay for trying to adapt a manga into 12 episodes. To call it "pretty terrible" is just unnecessarily disparaging, it's honestly a completely decent anime and tbh all it does is discourage people from Blue Period as a whole. Many folks will not start up reading a manga just like that and will probably prefer to watch the anime first and then if they like it give the manga a try. What this advice will tell them is to skip the anime altogether because it is pretty terrible, but then they will get lazy before giving the manga a try and just move on to some other anime that didn't get such scathing reviews.
Totally agree with this. Talking about Blue Period and relating it to trying to become a better CZcamsr is just BS if you just dismiss the animated version as trash. Blue Period is about struggling and educating yourself and giving good advice.
I like how you mentioned in a single sentence at the end that the anime sucks instead of doing a deep dive why it fails to capture the source material. Thanks for not wasting my time :)
I like the anime actually...
truly truly wish ppl just read the manga instead of watching the anime, its nothing like id ever read before
yes . very good book to read
Bro, you should make a video about the Ascendance of a Bookworm
I’m up to date with the manga and it’s sad to say it hits home.
I've heard a lot about this manga
hey bro can you tell me what editing software you use cause this vids fire
I use Davinci resolve. It's a pretty nice software and it's free
@@NitsuaVids tysm bro I’ve been trying it out and it is very complicated but once you get the hang of it it’s epic
The anime is SO good, though!
what's the name of the song between 2:16 and 3:02?
yes
Video is way too good
I relate to this manga but the thing with me is I gave up lol and now I live everyday without a goal or passion to keep me going pretty bland but that's it Ig lol can't do much
Hey, it’s never too late to start again
I started painting thanks to the anime
I find the anime pretty fine and actually very nice compared it delivers the colours of (for example) blue Shibuya
What do you mean the anime is bad???
I don't think the anime is bad but they cut out some scenes from the manga
Kaguyasama Pose.
🤠👍🏿
:D
BRUH. the anime is bad?!?!?! How could you be so right for 8 minutes, then do a complete 180 😭
its bad
@@Killerqueen2000 it's flawed, not bad
Hey don't diss on the anime it was good.
@Nitsua I think channel name is just awesome, if you know why then you know why :p
Great Video ! Definitely looks interesting. All the best to hit 5k subs this year.
