2:56 in the video, you say load side box doesn't have voltage but the voltage checker lights up green. So, which is it, has voltage or not? Can you make the video more clear?

Do both switches need to be the 3-way switch or can you use any cync wired switch?
We would be more than happy to answer your inquiry Jared. Thank you for considering Cync! All switches in a circuit must be Cync branded. Configurations that utilize our unique 3-Wire (No-Neutral) switches must be paired with the like. Cync 3-Wire switches cannot be paired with 4-Wire (Neutral Containing) switches. In a 3-Wire circuit, all switches must be of the same ‘type.’ Button, toggle and paddle switches can be paired. While our Dimmer and Motion Dimmer must stay together. What can you do with a 4-way setup?
Hi Justin. Thank you for reaching out. Our 3-Wire Switches are not compatible for 4-way configurations. For a 4-way setup, you would need to use a 4-Wire switch.
the traveler wire disappeard in the video ?

Check out our online installation guide, here: cyncsupport.gelighting.com/s/article/installing-cync-3-wire-switches?language=en_US#three-way-3-wire It explains the purpose of the travelers and how to identify and connect them based on your setup. Please note, for a 3-Way setup, both switches in that setup need to be Cync switches. If you are having trouble identifying your wires, we highly recommend that you contact a qualified electrician to assist.
If i have a 3 way switch and currently one has the dimmer function but the other does not can i replace the switches with 1 cync dimmer switch (no neutral) and 1 simple toggle cync (no neutral) switch? Or do both switches need to be able to dim?
No . . both must be simple toggly cync or both must be dimmer cync switches.
This video is ridiculous. Different footage that doesn't match up. Just adds to the confusion.

Yes- this video was very hard to follow. Ultimately I was able to figure it out and install the light though, so it helped a bit. Hard to follow though.
