The Blacrock Clan is named after the ore they harvested. Blackrock Clan members who drank the demon blood turned green, some more than others. Blackrock Mountain was not named after the clan, but the coincidence was considered a good omen by the clan. Blackrock Mountain's firey depths restored some of the Blackrock Orc's grey skin. He's forgetting about Guldan's clan. The nameless clan that he annihilated, the only remnant is his ring that drops off him in Nighthold. Its mentioned in the prewod video on Guldan.

The alternate WoD timeline is just stupid. MU Gul'dan was never an exile or a cripple, he was one of the more prominent members of the Shadowmoon Clan, a respected shaman in his own right and Ner'zhuls' apprentice and friend. After Ner'zhul began resisting Kil'jaeden, Gul'dan betrayed and usurped him, and then created the Shadow Council. After Orgrim Doomhammer killed Blackhand, became the Warchief and slaughtered most of the Shadow Council, Gul'dan created the Stormreaver Clan as his own powerbase.

The Laughing Skull was the Horde equivalent of Alterac in the Alliance. The clan and their chieftain, Mogor the Ogre, betrayed Nerzhul and the Draenor Horde and aided Khadgar and Lothar during the Beyond the Dark Portal campaign.
Fun fact: Black Tooth Grin, the clan name is a reference to Dimebag Darrel, Pantera's guitarist's special drink containing a large shot of seagrams 7, a large shot of crown royal,with a splash of cola. RIP
I always thought it would’ve been so much cooler and make way more sense if Blademasters learned mirror images and/or their lightning fast sword abilities from the Monks of pandaria. Either by a wondering pandaren who was maybe saved by itheir clan, or the other way around.
10:30 There weren't morons, they were enslaved by the ogres and they let them fight in the arena for fun, orcs against orcs, they were in chains. Kargath told them "choose your destiny" so they broke their chains (- by cutting off the chained hand). It became a tradition- an act of freedom. Is it an "handicap" in a fight? Sure ! But it is a clear message too. They honor the history (btw. You can loose your hand in any battle, to fight like that is not that big of a deal for an orc)
Has anyone else notice all the good guys in fantasy, if they live in the North tend to have a wolf as their symbol. The Starks from game of thrones The Frostwolfs And probably a few others that I'm forgetting at the moment.
Imagine if there were places where all the "clans" from one race could meet but no one else. Like all the different troll tribes meet and interact with each other outside of their faction like Vol'jin did with the Amani and the Gurubashi. Or if you were an orc you could meet like the "evil" orcs from the other clans in a special area and just be cool with them at this place, trading stuff, etc. . Nightelves, nightborn, highborne, etc all at one place. Like a sub-race-meeting lol
My favorite clan is the Stormreaver Clan. I know they’re “bad guys,” but who doesn’t like the sound of Orc Necromancer Pirates? They basically got Black Pearl cursed, and their Jack is stuck on a Lost Island.
As a RP'er who has been rping an orc for years, i knew about pretty much all of these clans. one of my friends rp's a flowerpicker. lmao. there is a bunch of bone chewer orcs on WRA. Ive seen 1 or 2 whiteclaws. My orc's mate was a Lightning blade and made my orc take the trial to become one, even though she was already a frostwolf. I think ive only seen 1 redwalker.

The intention of the Primals(at least 20% of gorgronds questing was dedicated to it, AND a primal invaded stormwind.)? the fact that there was a constant war between the earthen elementals and the primals? or that the lauging skull was stuck in the middle? i think the laughing skulls involvement was a little glossed over but which orc clan didnt in WoD
Ner'Zhul was just a big caster boi before he was turned into a Lich (the first Lich). Gul'Dan was pumped up on demon roids AND a big caster boi. So pre-Lich Ner'Zhul was powerful, but not OP.

This actually inspires me to create a story about a Shadowmoon orc woman who, out of curiosity, wanders across Draenor to learn the ways of the other clans, using Mak'gora to earn their respect.
