    I ordered a new coil. This one was made in 1999. Even if its not the coil, its always good to be able to eliminate something out. It was very bipolar when it did run always backfiring and shutting down. Thanks

    I put a brand new E3 in it and didnt help. I ordered a new coil. doesnt hurt to have a new one anyway. I need the money too, where i live we rarely get snow but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. The eastern seaboard is suppose to get hit bad.

    The backfiring is either a air leak getting into the ohv cover past the gasket i seen oil near your muffler so you got that and its your carburetor getting the wrong amount of gas to the engine

    I did that and got the same results. I ordered a new coil.

    Could it be an electrical issue? Try disconnecting the kill wire from the ignition coil, then checking for spark. This is a good way to isolate the coil from any other problems that there may be.

    @savagenomore Před 12 lety

    if the coil doesn't fix it check the kill wire to see if it's grounding out somewhere from vibration or some thing rubbing it..

  • @TheWallyjp
    @TheWallyjp Před 12 lety +1

    try a plug anyway because sometimes a new plug can be damaged. I hope we get pounded

    the husqvarna in some of my videos has the same engine and the coil went bad on it, it would start sometimes and sometimes it wouldn't but I can't remember if it has an igniter like some of the Kawasaki engines do but I think you will be running with a new coil...

    i need a bad winter i need the money, i would change the plug first, even if it is new because sometimes a new pug can be bad. sad to say, it sounds like a bad coil

    If you have a voltmeter you can check it

    I have an LT155 with a strange problem. I just cut my grass and it worked great. I turned it off to fill the tank and now it won't start. I confirmed that I have gas and spark. Any ideas? I even put a new RC12YC plug in. It won't even kick.

      Check to see if it will start of starting fluid or carb cleaner! That will narrow it down a lot!

    I'm confused too. So did changing the coil help or not? my lt133 also has a very weak spark. Won't turn over either on carb cleaner with great compression.

      @crazyjdkid  Před 8 lety +4

      +Abram Martinez Yes I did and it runs flawless now. These Kohler Commands are notorious for the coil going!

      @@crazyjdkid really it's the people that burn out the coil them not even knowing it that and the starter by holding the ignition key on trying to start it up and it not start up doing that over heats those parts
      I read on something else that a hot engine can burn out the coil even on cars

  • @theamericanrebel
    @theamericanrebel Před 8 lety

    Get a new spark plug and get it properly gaped. If it doesn't start check the color of the spark. if it's blue then it's good. Other than that I don't know with out actually looking at it and messing with it.

    Hey I'm hoping you see this. What's the update? Did you replace the coil? Did it help? If you could update me I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks.
