Another tip for decorative books from a librarian here : you can visit local libraries that have an in house book sale room or host regular fundraising book sales. Often books will be anywhere from 25 cents to 1 dollar and you can score some pretty books for displays or DIYs while also helping a good cause. The book covers are so easy to take off and some may already have their book jackets removed.

For those that wanted to know⊠on the Reindeer - I made one last night, I used 1 FULL skein of Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss yarn. Itâs is 28 yards, 7 Jumbo size, and super fluffy yarn. Worked out great!

Great ideas! I love them all but the deer are my favorite. My grandson told me he loves the holidays starting with Halloween and and his absolute favorite part is getting together with family, the food and decorations at our house. The deer may just become part of our "something new" this year.

I have an idea too. The candy cane wreath wrap in black yarn and use them as the sleigh rungs for Santa's sleigh. Use foam board to make his sleigh.

Genius idea for the whipped cream cocoa candle! The mug is super cute itself. Iâd prob make two candles at once since it looks like youâd have enough âwhipped creamâ to go around. Great use of all these baking supplies!

Iâve just finished making the reindeer. It looks so cute! A few tips⊠have lots of glue sticks available; wear a silicon finger protector; make sure your yarn is not tangled as you work covering specially the body of the reindeer.

Another way to do the candy cane pillow is to buy a pool noodle and the candy cane wreath frame. Use wire snips to cut the two out edges off the wreath frame, using only the two inner portions, strating at the straight end push it through the pool noodle and then wrap with the yarn. Then it can still be used sorta like a pillow! đ
