Yamaha engine…sounds fantastic…it’s a bit a shame that they use only twin charged 2.0 l4 engines these days I mean they are not bad but since they use the same engine for the polestar cars…they could at least try to use a straight 6 since 120.000€ for a 4cyl engine and normal exhaust is kind of…well expansive…anyway have a nice day 🙂

My wife has a 2008 XC90 V8 Executive with every single option and with some kind of a body kit from Volvo, the car has 85000km now. The only thing that I dont like about it is that the lovely V8 sound is way to dampened and the taxes on gasoline in Finland, regular gas is now something like 2,4€ per liter...

Drove it only a couple of times, because of the oil leak but it's what I wanted and can't wait to fix it soon. I would suggest 09 and newer. The bugs get worked out from what I seen online in those years. My v8 is in metallic silver so it's still pretty to look at on crutches. It's worth tracking one down in my opinion.

      Nice car but trash engine.
I wish they would continue making v8 engines. The current ones sound so incredibly bad, alike all the other new cars.
Emissions hippes can go screw themselves. Electric cars are basically just as bad, because no one uses an electric car over 8 years without changing the battery pack. Wich then makes it more pollutive than a v8 lol. People are stupid basically.
I would love for the v90 to have the option for a nice sounding engine. The 2017+ models look fantastic. The xc90 2017+ models also look great.
