Yamaha engine…sounds fantastic…it’s a bit a shame that they use only twin charged 2.0 l4 engines these days I mean they are not bad but since they use the same engine for the polestar cars…they could at least try to use a straight 6 since 120.000€ for a 4cyl engine and normal exhaust is kind of…well expansive…anyway have a nice day 🙂
My wife has a 2008 XC90 V8 Executive with every single option and with some kind of a body kit from Volvo, the car has 85000km now. The only thing that I dont like about it is that the lovely V8 sound is way to dampened and the taxes on gasoline in Finland, regular gas is now something like 2,4€ per liter...
@@MrSudanPresident not really, if you run your service checks and maintain it properly. I wouldn't worry about millage- going 230km/h on an empty German Autobahn, when the steering, suspension and drive train were in proper condition - on most of the cars from the European premium brands - even on a Jaguar :)
Engine temperature needle seems slightly over the middle to the right, which is unusual for these cars. Although I don’t have much experience with the 4.4 as with the 2.5T, 2.9TT, R, and 3.2.
I had no idea that this cat could be bought with this engine. That just makes it so much cooler in my opinion. And a top speed of 250 km/h (which I can believe given the power) would have made it an excellent autobahn cruiser
@@animalloverjulian8243 That's awesome, my dad has a Freelander 2...But unfortunately not with the SI6 engine. It can do 100 mph but it isn't effortless, which I'm sure it is in that beast of an XC90
@Haze Gaming you are right, no it isn't because the car is such a boat. the only time that i would do 240 km/h in that thing is during a life or death emergency such as running away a pyroclastic flow from a volcano or a tsunami.
