Yeah, I loved this one as well, it would be nice to see a sequel where Brie and Tom reprise their roles and have another Scientific adventure with Kong as a youthful but growing Kaiju on the Island before it became unstable, perhaps setting up Jia's family way before She would have been born. About the Skull Crawlers, I believe they were somewhat based upon the design of a creepy 2-legged beastie in the Original King Kong from 1933 which tried to get at the Hero Jack Driscol hiding from Kong's Hairy Paw on the edge of the ravine. He had to cut the vine it was creeping up on which attracted Kong's notice of Him.
