Vigor is actually even more essential in PvP. In PvE you can get away with "Just dodge everything, lol", barring framedrops that might mess your timing.
But that shit doesn't fly in PvP where lag is a thing (it works in peer-to-peer connection, so it's not question of "if" but "how much") and you get constantly hit with delayed strikes.
Even if you think you have rolled on advance, it's more than likely that you get hit.

Being too passive can be a disaster too. So many people in these videos have a boss at 1HP and just sit back and wait for the boss to combo them into oblivion

No Dist was aware. He just prefers fighting on foot.
Imo, Radahn is better to fight on foot if you are running melee. It is important to be able to dodge and keep the pressure.
Horseback might be good for casters or range builds.
But for melee it is better to only use the horse on the first approach when he uses the arrow rain, and when he dive bombs after phase one.
@@wabbit2099 funny about that, I was on the steed using a dismount curve greatsword a couple weeks ago, I actually beat that way, as you said it depends on the situation
You can use steed AND summon NPCs

@@imaginewagons3777 any weapon that isn’t slashing will decimate rocky type enemies, plenty of hammers and large smashing weapons capable of taking on other enemy types, invaders and even the giant rock gargoyles like the one guard the beast church turn into minor inconveniences, would be my choice over the novelty Wish list Morningstar she was using. But seeing how she was playing early on everyone switches up mid to later unless the point of the play through was to use it which I understand

I just played through em all and while they all are hard, I don't think Elden Ring is the easiest. None of the bosses in Demons Souls or DS1 gave me much trouble at all. DS2 had a lot of easy bosses as well outside of the dlc

@Fredrik Jansson Well i wouldnt say majority. There are a lot of boring bosses and quite a few shit ones but also a lot of good ones. Also it depends on build a lot. Renalla is really nice and fun as a melee build but completely bs if youre using sorcery. Just as an example
