Pinout.
6 pin
Pin #1 off/unlock run start to Pin#3 on the 12 pin harness
Pin #2 Ground to Pin #2 Ground on the 12 pin harness
Pin #3 Stop Lamp Relay Output to Pin # 4 on the 12 pin harness
Pin #4 blank don't use cap or tape off.
Pin#5 Can C Bus +(Positive) to Pin 5 on 12 pin harness.
Pin#6 Can C Bus -(negative)to Pin 6 on 12 pin harness.

I took a 2011 civilian version charger and converted it from floor shift to column shift, a really interesting learning experience. I didn't have to worry about the VICM, but I did have to extended the factory wiring from the floor shift location up to the column shifter!

Thanks for posting this video, I have a 2008 police charger and I want to do this same conversion to. What year is the charger you did the conversion on? as I understand it the 2008-2010 are different than the 2007-earlier.

yes the shifter are different but the wiring remains the same chargerforumz.com has an excellent write on how to do 08 and up. just make sure the get the shifter with the auto stick feature. to find the thread quickly Google charger floor shifter conversion.
So does the autostick function work? I'm getting ready to do this conversion on my magnum. But I've heard some people say they can't activate the autostick after doing this conversion.
TJ Miller mines works with no problems at all.
Awesome. I looked up the wire diagram on mitchel1 at work and you're completely right the extra wires on the 12 pin connector is essentially the column shifter talking to itself and it's all internal on the console shifter. There are only 5 connections that connect either shifter to the rest of the car.
Ignition switch PNK to LT BLU
Ground BLK/WHT(or BLK/ORG) to BLK
Brake switch GRN/WHT to YEL
Comp bus + WHT/LT GRN to LT GRN/BLK
Comp bus - WHT/LT BLU to GRY

I think mine doing the same thing but I can see it changing on the cluster but when I put it in park in still be move forward same way if I put it in reverse in still move forward I need help bad I think it’s my cable shifter ain’t line up rite

I don't see the black wire that hooks into the back half of the shifter. What's that for it might be hiding under the vent tube I hope or I might have to put it in.

Is it a certain year model to get the shifter out of? Been looking in salvage yards for one also will one from a 300c work?
06 to 07 has to use the shifter from that year charger 300 or magnum with the autostick feature. 08 and up has to one's from the same charger or 300. what year is yours?

I have an 09 im working on and i have to use the 07 or older floor shift. mine is equiped with the auto shift which wasnt an option in 2009.
@@quebec2779 09s have the auto stick function also a 07 shifter won't work you need one from an 09 and up I have one that someone wanted but changed their mind. also there is a lengthy write up on chargerforumz.com or dodge floor shifter conversion.

I can't find on Facebook. I'm trying to do my column to floor shifter conversion as well. I can't don't the wiring harness in the column to I know what to match. Also did you take the whole column shifter out of just that latch?
Timothy Townsend I removed the handle by taking the torx screw out of the bottom of the handle and left the rest of it there. the wiring harness you would have to get it from a donor vehicle that has the autostick feature chargerforumz has an excellent write up on it with

I have the harness from the donor vehicle but I can't seem to find the wiring on my vehicle ( the column wiring harness)
your also going to have to extend the wires about 4 feet.

What all do you need to remove from the column shifter
I think it's either 10mm bolt or 13 that hold it to the column I'm not sure I left mine on.

There is allen head screw where the column shifter attaches to the column shifter.

Jesse Shaw yes you would so long as connect all the wires accordingly and make sure that the shifter you have has the autostick feature.

The best place would be your local junkyard. Make sure it has the autostick function or it will not work.
