Instead of passing out at the finish line this man ran around giving high fives with a flag on his back. He was projected to hit 1:59:50 with 1km left and ended up running 1:59:40. WHAT A LEGEND.

And after again breaking the world record at Berlin 2022 : “Pain is part of the challenge, pain is part of a race, any race in this world, and the moment you actually feel that pain then that's where success is. So the more you feel the pain , the more I want to stick in that pain and that's the place to be successful and actually accomplish your dream" ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Even though i watched him live, i still find tears running down my cheeks when i watch him crash the 2hour barrier. Truly inspiring. 'No man is limited'as he always say. A story of a legend.
Maybe CZcams recommended it to them and they weren't interested. Some people give a video a thumbs down in hope that CZcams won't recommend similar videos to them again, whether or not it actually works this way. I'm not one of these people but I can see where they're coming from, having other videos on my feed that don't interest me.
@@thedudecube6954 well, yes, on my way to work I bike with a higher average speed (24km/h), Kipchoge ran between 21 and 22km/h. But my way to the office is about 3.5km, not 42 😂.
What a beautiful protect. All the best runners in the world helping Kipchoge achieve this herculean challenge! Great teamwork from all the athletes as well as individual effort from him. Trully inspirational! It makes one to really strive for self improvement
Even after finished line, still he has more energy left, no breathless, look so energetic. this man is really super humans.. he deserves more for this achievement..
Fun fact : Kipchoge's world record at Berlin last week is only 89 sec slower. He would only be about half a km behind just down the road at 2 hours. Maybe in cool conditions the next time it might be done. Absolute beast!
Wooooooow, I mean even after running that long, kipchoge finishes the run in a style. It's like he is just starting, so energetic with a great smile, what an incredible humble soul. God bless more and more🤗
Wow not only is he a world record holder, not just in recorded history but probably in all of human history period, he's also living my personal dream of being a farmer while running with a community of friends and family in a beautiful environment, and he said he loves to read and contemplate and write down his thoughts in another interview. He's humble, down to earth, caring, smart, motivated and determined. What an absolute inspiration in every respect! Much respect and much support from Texas to this man and everyone that helped him along the way from coaches, to teammates, his wife, kids and whole family and neighbors, to his competitors that banded together to make this happen and everyone else 👋 Incredible team work, very heart warming and a privilege to be alive to witness 👏
Amazing! My favourite athlete ever, beating Bolt on my list. Dedication, will-power, love of sport and a smile on his face always!!! One of the greatest ever , a true inspiration for mankind! Thank you Kipchoge!!!
Amazing feat of human endeavour. I salute you Elliot Kipchoge and having been to Eldoret so many times and seen the agony of working up at 05 a.m. even as a coach and running 10 km as a warm up, this goes into my archives. Keep your humbleness and use your fame to help more struggling athletes. Godspeed Elliot and your entire family. I salute you because you have broken the barriers of what mankind can do, given the chance.
I will embark on my first-ever half marathon in a few weeks, and finding Eliud Kipchoge has inspired me beyond belief. The most powerful message for me has to be, if not now, when? Thank you for teaching us no human is limited, and I hope to see him run one day.
what an absolute monster of a runner and such an incredible role model. definitely an inspiration to me, not only as a runner or endurance athlete, but to attempt to overcome anything I think might be impossible in my life.
Bad things happened for better for those champions. Failure doesn’t stop them, but becomes a foot stool to that changes their lives. From 500m to marathon champion winner🏅. Awesome and very encouraging
He decide to accelerate during the last km. The rabbit who give the rythme was to slow for him and he decide to ask them to let him run alone..... Incredible mental conditioning of this super athlete...
Amazing.. i would have to be stretchered after finishing a marathon much less run at his INSANE speed. And he looks like he didn't break a sweat, too! Absolutely amazing
I do change up my shoes very frequently mostly depending upon how my feet feel and if the miles are running or walking..for easy runs or if my feet are beat up,it's usually the Rebels..for medium runs it's either the Topo spector or Craft pro endurance..for long runs or racing it could be the Alphafly, NB Elite V3,Mizuno Pro or the Puma Fastr..for walking I use various Solomon,Craft,Atreyu,Saucony, Nike..because our weather is horrible 4-5 months a year I do many miles on a TM,elliptical or stair stepper I often switch shoes several times a day..
For anyone who has not run or swam long distance before, I set this as a challenge to you to be able to do a 15km run or a 5km swim non stop in the next 12 months.

This particular recording is slightly lower quality, because I had an issue with rendering

He made up those 10 seconds on the last one km running a 4:12 mile pace and sprinting the last few hundred metres to the end.
What a gigachad
If they make a movie about him it should be his race time to put things into perspective.

Yes same! Absolutely inspiring

Bro this man is the goat of marathon
He's amazing

I was dead after my 4 hour marathon. Eliud ran 1:59.40 and still celebrated afterward. The GOAT of the marathon

So true!! His kind humility is a true example to us all!!
i just love the unity in the running community they all come to support each other
The Tokyo Olympics have just been concluded, despite the delays due to COVID-19. Guess what ? Kipchoge WON the gold medal again 🏅🏅🌟🌟
Why have 22 people disliked this, the man is amazing. Years later I still watch this non stop

13mph is fairly slow for biking. I'm usually in the 17-21mph for road cycling. Takes some good effort though
