- You may sometimes find that you’re not able to fit some of your images into frames the way that you’d like.
You try to add the image but the edges keep getting cut off and you’re not able to resize it to be smaller inside of the frame such that the full image can be seen.
You’re able to easily enlarge the image inside of the Canva frame, but not make it smaller, and every time you try, it just continues to crop the image.
So what are you do in this situation?
In this quick video, I'll tell you why it's happening and what to do about it!
And if you're looking for the "Design to Image" app tutorial video I mentioned in the video, you'll find that here: • How to Save Time in Ca...

Oh. Mergawd. I have been trying to figure out how to add images back into my uploads without having to download all of them forever! You just changed my life. Thank you thank you thank you!!
You're very welcome! 😍
Pure brilliance Brenda!!! So much great info in this tutorial
Glad it was helpful! 😊
I struggled for about 20 long minutes (felt longer) trying to figure it out. Lol
Thanks for the video!
I hope it helped!
I have a question - I'm trying to fit an iphone 15 size photo into a frame for a mockup. There are a couple of iphone 15 size frames on Canva but they have rounded corners and I don't like the way they look - anal, I know - is there a way to actually resize the image pixels to fit into the frame that I want?
Thank you so much! Been pulling my hair out over this for way too long.
You're so welcome! This video was actually motivated by several people asking me how to solve this specific challenge, and anytime I hear the same question multiple times, that usually means it's a great one to do a video about. 😊
Does the image you saved with the white border around it, does it have a transparent background when you create it, do you save it as a transparent background? Im trying to write myself a tutorial, and its been hit or miss with getting it right.
The examples I used all had white backgrounds - none of them were transparent. 😊
Where is the video you referenced please?
Ah yes, I've updated the description now to include a link to that video. You'll find it here: czcams.com/video/RQL7m4AEq1c/video.html
why I can't find the (Design to image button) on chrome??
It's one of the Canva apps that you need to add... here's a direct link to it. :) www.canva.com/your-apps/AAF0QRD19PU/design-to-image?q=Design+to+Image

Hmm, I haven't seen that error before! It sounds like your best bet in that case is probably to submit a support ticket to Canva. 🤔
@@BrendaCadman Yes I contacted them they said this problem is still going on we will fix it.
Now that problem has been fixed.
canva support team is very good they contacted me within 12 hours.
By the way thanks for reply with a suggestion.
I'm so glad they were able to help you quickly!
Thank you
You're welcome!
This doesn't work for me, I just get the same thing but with the part around the image that I added.
Hmm, can you clarify the steps you're taking? And when you say you get the same thing but with the part around the image that you added, is it still cutting off your image? If so, you may need more empty space around the image that you're pulling into the frame.
@@BrendaCadman Hi, I am doing the steps you show in your video, I add the extra space around the image I want to fit into the frame but it still doesn't fit no matter what I try. I just figured out that I need to resize my image and play with the size until I can finally fit it into the frame. It's a bit annoying and time waster but it works. Thank you anyway!
It can be finicky but it sounds like you found a solution... glad to hear it!! 😊
