@@WellFireProject Todos estamos aprendiendo amigo. Y desconfia si alguien te dice que ya lo sabe todo. Mi maestro se acaba de jubilar con más de 40 años tocando en orquesta sinfónica el contrabajo a la vez que grababa discos con Adrea Vocheli, Plácido Domingo, Discos de Jazz, Música tropical y demás. Codeandose con súper bajistas Oscar Cartaya, Víctor Wooten, Igor Saavedra, Oscar Stagnaro. Y después de toda esa vida dedicada a la música, hoy por hoy, sigue aprendiendo y con una pasión que ya querrían muchos. Así que ánimo y sigue así, que este es un camino apasionante.

Placer para el que mira, no para mí jeje. Pero realmente no es elaborado, es repetir 3 ritmos diferentes, lo que el "pre-chorus" con las notas rápidas y tan arriba del mástil (y sin meñique) me mató 😅

You could make a video (even being in Spanish) giving tips for bass players who want to stand in a stage and play in concerts. You could give in this videos tips about this like :. How to stand up and play to a public or like 5 tips to play in a concert
I could do it... but it won't be serious, the tips will be invented and like a joke, because I have no experience in concerts hehe

This is one of my favorite Manowar songs!
I don't like very much the first album of Manowar, but this one and "battle hymn" are my two favourite tracks of that recording. "Manowar" the third... hehe
@@WellFireProject I understand completely. To this day Kings of Metal (1988) is still the reigning champion in Manowar catalog of records. Ntm they still have many other phenomenal albums. Fighting The World, Triumph of Steel, Louder Than Hell, Warriors of The World, Hail to England and Sign of The Hammer IMHO is the greatest of the first 4 Manowar classics.

Bueno, Manowar en España tienen conciertos buenos, y otros no tan buenos jeje. Especialmente hay uno muy recordado donde a mitad de repertorio hicieron una larga pausa para irse a los camerinos con algunas fans... que a ellos y a las fans les gustaría, pero al resto del público no tanto

I was looking forward to this upload. I've wanted to be able to play Manowar songs since I was 15. Thanks much to your channel over the cast couple years I can play Joey Demaio's incredible basslines. Hail from Southern California!
When I was 15 I already listened to Manowar, but I never thought someday I will play some of them hehe.
But remember my bass covers of Manowar are not equal than the original. They are an adaptation to a standard bass and they sound different.
Joey uses a piccolo bass most of times: guitar body with bass strings. And probably double strings (4 x 2 strings). I thing each couple of strings has a string one octave higher than the other. So, you push a duble string and it sounds the same note, but in two different octaves. And he plays a lot of powerchonrds... so it would be 4 strings at same time...
He sounds brighter than a normal bass, and he uses distorsion too. Look at this video and you will understand... czcams.com/video/qL0WpSLW888/video.html
@@WellFireProject Well for what it's worth after so much practice making my attempt to play as exact to your interpretation of Joey Demaio's basslines. I don't know what kind of setting you use but I really like sound you get and that's not flattery either. Anyway I'm gonna watch the video you recommended in your reply for certain. @@WellFireProject Yep watched the video I've literally never even held an 8 string bass nor seen one in person other than the 2 times I've seen Manowar back in 1999 and 2002! Lol

For you it will be easy, but for me was always imposible the pre-chorus part, and I had it appears three times on the song! 😭
If you know to use pinky (not like me), you could change the strings playing the same note and maybe it is more confortable for you

Es muy lenta... al igual que las rápidas, las muy lentas también cuestan. Primero porque no hay que aburrirse, jeje, y segundo porque hay que cuadrar bien los golpes para que coincidan con la batería. La apuntaré pero... no lo tengo muy claro

¿Pero por qué lo dices? Porque suena fuera de tono en comparación con la canción original? (es decir, desafinado realmente), ¿O porque el sonido de mi bajo es diferente al sonido del bajo de la canción original? (eso sería por el tipo de bajo y cuerdas, no por la afinación)
Tu ponle un pedal de distorsión y verás que pega completamente con la cancion
Claro que si esta afinado bro , no todo requiere distorsion
