- Discover the scenic road which leads to Pordoi Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Dolomites !
Pordoi pass is another iconic pass of the Dolomites in Italy. This is a high altitude pass at a peak elevation of 2,239 m and is located between Arabba and Canazei. The completely sealed road is wide compared to the other passes in the Dolomites and is in good condition. There is ample room for safely passing oncoming vehicles. There is moderate traffic on this pass as it is a popular tourist destination, so expect a lot of tourist buses and caravans. The road is very enjoyable to drive as there are many hairpin turns and sweeping bends. The scenery surrounding the pass is spectacular with great views of the Dolomites mountains. There is a great vantage point at the top of the pass which has the best views of the scenery. In my opinion this is the best pass in the Dolomites. This is a pass definitely worth driving and is not to be missed.

Thank you for another excellent video. I will be in the Dolomites and your videos help me a lot. I am an OK driver, and so if I were to choose just two of the passes to drive along, which are the most scenic and yet not dangerous? I am from the US and therefore am mostly used to highway driving, but not in the mountains. Thank you!!!
