Rosalie 😊
Oh yeah it is a beautiful area indeed, so glad you have got to see where Evan and Wendy travelled this year 😊
Originally from Argentinian Patagonia myself. It looks like Chilean Patagonia, much steeper slopes on that side
Hi Juan, wow what a beautiful country to be from 👍🏻 thanks for confirming that, we haven’t been ourselves but from pictures we’ve seen we got reminded of it. Looking forwards to exploring your wonderful country someday!
Thanks for watching

Went to Cortina thirty odd years ago in a 1967 Triumph Spitfire and it was lovely. Even managed some skiing despite its having been April. Seeing this makes me want to go back.
The Triumph spitfire is so cool!! Wish I had one of those 😎. That must have been an incredible trip -traveling in style! Has it changed much over the years? I guess it’s more busy today than it was then.
Cheers Sean and Emily

Wow some stunning mountain scenery, I'm glad you haven't used a popular 360 camera with fish eye lens( Emily seems to have that covered ) The Dolomites will be added to my bucket list after watching this,
Hi and thanks. When starting our channel we decided to shoot everything in Linear and are really happy with it. Emily does do a great job of filming 😊 The Dolomites are awesome (can get crowded in peak season though) but there’s plenty of routes. Thanks for your comment.
Cheers

Beautiful ride ❤ how did you manage to get the drone shots though 🤯
Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed it 😎👍🏻
Excellent tour and video, thanks for sharing. Thanks to your Alps tours, I'm now planning for a tour myself next year. I've noticed you're using DJI MICs, but can you share your microphone setup inside your helmets for vlogging? Do you plug a lavaliere mic into the DJI MIC and then sync in post?
Thanks very much, really glad you have enjoyed them and found them useful for planning. Yes that's correct, only no need to sync afterwards as the DJI receiver connects to the GoPro. In case you are wondering about other equipment we have a list on our website:

Thanks again for watching and there are plenty of other videos on Switzerland in the motorcycle tours playlist.

Hi Karen, thanks for your comment!
That's cool! We will keep an eye out for you 😉. You Australians sure do get around and it's great you bring your bike with you too!!
We need to get back to Australia again- it's been too long.

hi guys, great video, cn i ask what adventure helmets you have ?
Hi Nigel, these helmets are from Touratech (made by Nexx)
Hi from Australia, tour Touratech interview. Was fab, Love what you 2 do, your passion is captivating, you obviously love the BMW GSA, as you traded in an older one, Q to you, have you had any bike issues ? Are they reliable in general. With the complex amount of technology they have? Im looking for reliability. I am intrigued that most buyers of most brands have to upgrade the suspension on brand new motorcycles, is this required for the 1250 GSA as you have Emily and gear. Was looking at GSA or Africa Twin 1100 Adventure sports. Your vids are inspirational , best wishes Stephen
Hi Stephen, thanks for your comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the Touratech interview 😊. Yeah we’ve ridden the GSA for about 8 years now. Our older Gsa (the Air cooled R1200) has been but into retirement-we couldn’t bare to part with it do we kept it lol. We’ve had no issues with the R1200 other than replacing the clutch which it not bad for a 13 year old bike.
The R1250 we picked up 3 months ago and have put 15,000 Km on it. We are currently heading to the Nordkapp and I must say the bike has been great with not 1 error message. I think people are quick to complain about issues or error messages but the majority that have no issues stay quiet. So speaking from our experience so far the bike has her. Great!
As for the suspension, I think the Oem one is fine for the road and light off road use. But those that want to do more extreme off roading might need to upgrade it. We ride two up fully loaded with camping and cooking equipment on roads with many holes, gravel tracks and some light off roading snd hand had no issues with the stock suspension. I guess it’s designed as a do it all bike do if people have more specific uses in mind they might need a few upgrades. I hope that helps and you enjoy watching our videos. All the best Sean and Emily 😎🙌🏻
@@SeanandEmily thank you, your reply and your bike usage justifies my decision to purchase a BMW GSA, loved your review on the R18. I hope people appreciate the work you both do to produce this great Vid content. Love what you do 😃
Thanks so much! We have just started the next Tour ...The Heading North Tour.

Really enjoying the videos. Quick question what route planner do you use, I have tried Basecamp which is not the easiest. Any suggestions as would like the ability to import into BMW navigator. Thanks.
Hi, great to hear from you and we are glad you enjoying the tours.
As our route and timings our never set in stone we don't make a route to be imported into the navi.
What we tend to do is to plot the points of interest on google maps (including the roads we want to ride) and then join the dots. Then we just pop in the waypoints as we go along so each morning we decide where we want to go as someday we get further than expected and other times not as far.
The maps to our tours can be found on our website. Here is Heading North (we will complete the Blog at a later date)

Hi Patrick, thanks very much -nice to hear you liked it 😎👍

Aw hey, thanks for the answer. @@SeanandEmily
Hi Sean & Emily. You guys recently had the k1600 on loan, do you prefer the GSA?, for what reason? I ask as i am interested in the k1600, i would have thought it would have been a more suitable for touring with pillion. Your thoughts would be appreciated.:-). Ride safe 🙏
Hi Joslin, yes we borrowed the K1600 for a few days. Personally we prefer the GS as it’s more suited to our travels. We often travel to places with poor road surfaces and some bumpy light off roading. Plus the GS carries all our camping gear etc etc.
however if you are looking at riding good quality roads with a more sporty feel then perhaps the k1600 is a good choice -it is an incredibly smooth ride and with the pillion back box (we tested the GT model that doesn’t come with the pillion setup) it could be a great two up touring bike. Best bet is to go test them out so you can compare. Cheers 😎🙌🏻
Thanks Sean & Emily for getting back to me ;-)
Italian city stress me out , this guy passed a red light 😂😂,, typical Italian 😂
We are with you on that one!! Most stressful place to ride with seemingly no road rules. Always feel relaxed again when crossing into Switzerland, that said it is always a lot of fun to ride in Italy 😂.
What time of the year did you film this?
This was filmed mid July
CZcams FYP algo brings me here, and I'm glad both of you using the same motorcycle gear (helmet, jacket & trousers), so I can poisoned my wife to use the same riding gear as I am, she insist only using windbreaker and open face helmet during our motorcycle touring.
Cheers from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Hi! It's so cool that we have people from Indonesia watching too -so thanks for letting us know! Indonesia looks like it has some amazing place to ride a motorcycle too so we look forwards to the day when ewe can visit!
It can be hard finding motorcycle clothing that are designed for women but the @touratech suits we have are available for men and Women. We hope your wife finds some good protective clothing that feels good -also a lip up helmet is a good option to replace the open face helmet as sometimes an enclosed one can feel a bit claustrophobic at times for some people.
Thanks for watching our channel and we hope you continue to enjoy our videos.
Kind regards
Sean and Emily
@@SeanandEmily thanks for the tips guys, much appreciated, and definitely you should visit Indonesia, ITS HUUUGE, also we are motorcyle country, although most are using small 110 - 250 cc engine, that don’t limit us to explore our country using motorcycle.
We have mountains, plateu, beaches, diving spot, spicy food, and most hospitable people you can found on earth.
It would be awesome to rent a 250cc bike to explore the country! Sounds fantastic, we have heard so many good things about Indonesia =)
@@SeanandEmily there's also big bike too (> 250 cc) for rent, some had Harley Davidson, BMW GSA, KTM 790, Africa Twin etc, usually available at big cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, or Denpasar (which is the capital city of Bali province).
Awesome 😎👍
Why they built mbikes😂
🤣 true that!
