I met him last week at the Royal Geographical Society , London and I talked with him after the lecture- what a great man! Genuine and very very funny. He left school at 14 and got everything through sheer effort and hard work. He is 72 and he went up to 90,000 feet in a mig 29 this year in preparation for his flight into space with the Russians in 2009.
~This good to watch as we know how entertaining and charming Brian is, he is also one of our Greatest Actors and this is so interesting to see his love of animals, what a fabulous voice you have too.

He told the story today on radio 2 Friday 7th October and said he could not play Pavarotti but it’s for charity, Domingo said you can do it as part of the three and a half tenors taking the Mickey but boy can Brian sing and has a great opera voice, he also said his favourite ever role was in Flash Gordon especially as queen did the soundtrack, a legend, who remembers him in blackadder 🤪🤪🤪

Saw his show a couple of nights ago in Warrington so tracked this down. I admire Brian so much because of his confidence, fearlessness, drive and good natured fuckoffness. His dad lived to be 101 despite being a miner. He is only 82. I like to think he will outlive us all. Unless he DOES go to Mars, as he seems to think he's on the verge of doing! That might see him off.

I love Brian Blessed and despite being very old he still does it for me (Do not tell my partner!). Such an attractive man inside and out. I can imagine he could tell such great stories. The beard! The voice! And the pets! I always prefer people who like animals. I don't know why. I just do.
