    They only give 2 weeks of training sa Cali? Maybe its because you started as an agency nurse? Here in NY, mostly hospitals will do 2 weeks of classroom orientation then 12 weeks of orientation sa floor depending on your experience and progress.

    • @deesammy
      @deesammy  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Dito sa Cali as long as experienced nurse ka they will only give you 2 weeks. If change of specialty ka, then you get longer training kunwari from ward to ICU/OR. Lumipat ako work after ko mag buyout, 2 weeks lang din binigay sakin sa other hospital 🥴 but they will assess naman kung tingin nila kaya mo na and you can always speak up if you think you need more time ☺️

    Hey...Just randomly came across to ur video, I must really appreciate u for explaining almost all the core areas what all nurses including me were expecting to hear from someone in US😄, Your way of presentation is so gentle and not much dragging like other bloggers ( Sorry )
    I am in london currently, been here for 1 year now, holding indian passport, i am actually planning to start the process from uk, but just wanted to know roughly how long will it take the whole process until visa for someone like me who has indian citizenship? If its gonna be like 10 yrs ( which Ive heard from someone not from US) , no point of waiting as i have a family ( me& hus) here in uk and to start from the scratch Please be kind to answer this..,also can u say about the A/L and sick leave, which state is better for family in terms of least expenses . Thanks in advance dear, and God bless you 🙏🏻😊
    Ive asked thw same to other bloggers too from US, sadly none of them hasnt replied .. hope you will kindly respond ❤❤❤

      Hi! Thank you for appreciating my video! It means a lot ❤️ As for the processing times, I looked at the current visa bulletin, for India they are still processing applications from 2012 😪 unfortunately this would be a long wait esp if you're just starting now. Best bet would be aiming for british citizenship then processing might be a lot faster.

    • @deesammy
      @deesammy  Před 11 měsíci +2

      For annual and sick leaves, nothing beats UK. Esp for maternity leave. UK is generous with they're A/L and sickleaves. Here you have to accrue them over a period of time you have worked. For example you gain like 3-4 hrs of PTO for 40 hrs worked for the week. I know it's not much 🫣

    • @deesammy

      Leaves are better po in UK. You get 7 weeks off in total na paid. Cant remember the exact number of hrs im guessing around 280 hrs yun. Dito sa US kelngan nyo ipunin ung leave nyo 😢
      About taxes naman, dito kase sa US depende sa state, ung iba may state tax pa. Pero nde naman din gano ngkkalayo kase malaki din tax sa UK. Pero sweldo wise mas mkkaipon po kayo dito US. God bless po ma'am!🙏

      @Eleven 8 no, I didn't apply for residency since I'm moving to US for good. Sayang din ung 3k na bayad unless you want to keep your options open

    Hi Ate just wanna ask, yung experience po ba sa US kina count po ba nila yung experience mo outside US? I’m planing to move to US I have 9 years experience combined (Philippines,Saudi Arabia, UK)

    • @deesammy
      @deesammy  Před rokem +1

      Kapag agency counted din, pero mababa tlga offer nila. Pag out of contract ka na and direct apply ka sa hospitals dito, most of them cncount lahat ng experience mo kahit outside US ☺️ pero may isang hosp ako inapplyan pag our of country daw counted as .5 lang, may isa naman bedside lang ang iccount nila. Iba iba rin

      Yes, they give you a green card/immigrant visa. Processing just takes time but worth it.

  • @yasminediannecasamayor3828

      Academic for visa screen. You need to get score of 7 in speaking and a total score of atleast 6.5. I'm not sure if it's the same now.
