Leaving Alaska [4K UHD]

In this week's video we head up the Taylor Highway to the quirky town of Chicken, Alaska. From there we cross into the Yukon on Top Of The World Highway and head toward Dawson City.

Walker Fork is nice, I like to stop there for lunch. You went through Jack Wade too, which has a rich mining history. Excellent that you had nice weather, The Top is miserable in the rain, it gets slick.

We had heard that it can get pretty slick when wet, so we were watching the weather very carefully and only considered taking the route when we saw a clear weather window. We are so glad it worked out for us. It was gorgeous and we loved getting into a more remote area!

I felt sad for you! It's hard to believe that was around three months ago.
The good thing is that you still had/have plenty of adventure ahead of you.

Nice video. Anything ever come to be of the noise you heard ?

Still not sure what the noise was. I think it was coming from the weight distributing hitch (probably from all the dirt from the gravel roads). All is well now.
