18x8et30 test (prototype) wheels have arrived to Germany

These weight 12,0kg per piece. They are pretty much standard weight for low pressure cast wheels that have 780kg maximum load. Or closer to middle class in weight scale. Lightest ones are around 10,5-11kg.
My own 18x8,0et30 5x114,3 cb 64,1mm design should be under 7kg the bare wheel and under 8kg with the aerodynamic wheelcover that will make the wheels look like in my tablet photo.
My wheels will designed for 750kg maximum load.

I can't wait to see the result of these. By the way, I completely understand your reasoning for making smaller wheels but will there be a 20" wheel option for those who want the larger wheel duplicating the same design and aero inserts? I have been trying to find an option like this and only found one thus far and I didn't like their design.

20" can be made forged and glued inserts like these protowheels. Weigth will be little bit higher, but that is the case always with bigger wheels. Would guess 20" would be around 10-12kg depending on the width etc.
