American actor, Andre Braugher, died of lung cancer, on December 11th, 2023, at the age of 61. He was best known for his leading roles in the popular police television series, Homicide: Life on the Street. And Brooklyn Nine-Nine. On the big screen, he starred in films, such as, Primal Fear. City of Angels. And Frequency.
Canadian actor, Kenneth Mitchell, died on February 24, at the age of 49. He appeared in more than 50 films, and television series, including the 2004 film, Miracle. The television series, Jericho. The television series, Star Trek: Discovery. And the television series, The Astronaut Wives Club.
American actor, Ryan O'Neal, died after a long battle with heart disease, on December 8, at the age of 82. Ryan O'Neal starred in numerous popular films. To set the record straight, Frank Farian DID NOT write the song Rivers of Babylon. It was written and recorded in 1970 by Trevor McNaughton and Brent Dowe from the group called the Melodians, a Jamaican reggae group.
It was re-recorded in 1978 by Boney M and became a monster hit.
