  • Today we attended a commemorative event for D-Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II.
The event was organised by Duncan Mckellar who rediscovered one of Bristol’s public Air Raid Shelters, under the Corn Exchange.
You can step back in time and explore the shelter on the St Nicholas Market & Air Raid Shelter Walking Tour.
It’s a highly moving place to visit, made all the more poignant by visiting on this day.
    Thanks for watching.
