D-Day 80th Anniversary in Bristol and Air Raid Shelter Tour

Today we attended a commemorative event for D-Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II.
The event was organised by Duncan Mckellar who rediscovered one of Bristol’s public Air Raid Shelters, under the Corn Exchange.

It’s a highly moving place to visit, made all the more poignant by visiting on this day.
