A rugby match between Vaiala and Vailele, stirs some funny moments between the players. Simaika Mikaele is a Former Manu Samoa 7's player and was one of the world's best Seven's rugby players and has represented Samoa since 2001. In this clip he was a funny guy at the 2014 Marist Pago Sevens, held in American samoa April 11 & 12. I accidently came upon this video clip and couldn't stop laughing. I'm a Fijian and love island humor. Mikaele is well known as a wonderful rugby player and a skillful superstar. Even great players like him can entertain the crowd with some comedy. If you think this act is funny, try watching the Laughing Samoans. That will make you roll over. It is awesomely funny.

@@Longtack55 looks like you haven't left your little town. Vailima is a type of beer. When you go to a pub and order a beer, there are a variety of them to choose from. There isn't just a generic brand of "beer" like acetaminophen. It's the same with milk. You can get whole milk, 2% milk, 1% milk, skim milk, almond milk, there is such a thing as a variety of milk. It's the same with a car. You don't just go to a car dealership and say, I want car. There's many manufacturer of cars and among those manufacturers are models of cars. Then when you settle for a model, they may have a specific trim or style that further differentiates this particular car than what you would think is a generic "car."

The "diver" in the video is none other that Simaika Mikaele who represented Samoa in IRB Sevens. He is described by Wikipedia as one of the world's best Seven's rugby players and has represented Samoa since 2001. Go ahead, Google it.
In Samoa, yes, when we laugh we sometimes sound like all sorts of animals even hyenas but hey, it's better to be a happy hyena than a sad fool.
Simaika did not dive. He is renowned in Samoa for his tough tackling which earned him a place in the National Sevens and IRB stardom for that matter.
Rugby is played really tough and hard in the Pacific but when you know some of these hard-hitters personally you'll also understand that they love clowning around at times even during a serious game. It's in our nature that to be "fia malie" or to be a clown or a joker helps generate a gleeful atmosphere even at serious times. That's why we tend to smile a lot.
Let's not poke fun at Soccer or Football because they have just as great a brand of sport as any other code. So I'll move on while I really hope you guys "shake hands" and look for more things in life to smile about.
