- Learn how to create a spatial join in Tableau between two spatial files, one with polygons and one with points. I'll also step through how to create an interactive dashboard to filter the spatial data and highlight it on a map with two map layers.

What a good surprise! This is my native island!
Great tutorial! Thank you
Thanks, Zoey!
Amazing playlist for a newbie on tableau. One question, if possible: how to highlite/select an administrative area on the map and show how how many educational facilities are there ? Thanks a lot !
Thanks for the kind words. You could put a count of facilities on to the tooltip of the admin area layer, then when you hover you'd see that number. Hope that helps.
@@MarcReid Thanks a lot !
Is there a way to visualize a multi-polygon from excel to tableau? For some reason the geo-coordinates are not being recognized in Tableau
I'm not sure what you mean by a 'multi-polygon from Excel'. Polygons (as shapes) would be in some kind of spatial file. I'd recommend posting a question with your workbook on the Tableau forums for more support: community.tableau.com/s/explore-forums
I have the problem in overlayed maps where adding a filter forces the top layer to disappear - what could I be doing wrong?
I'm not really sure what the issue is here. I'd recommend posting the question on the Tableau forums where you can also upload your workbook for the best support: community.tableau.com/s/explore-forums
Tableau is written in an Alien language.
