I love those Lo Scarabeo mini deck boxes. I wish they would use this box design for their full size cards too.

The court cards also continue with the major arcana symbols. The pages all have Strength's hat. The Knights have the Hanged Man's crescent moons on theie torsos. The Queens are wearing the crown from the bottom of the Death card and the bottom of their dresses have the scythe blade. The kings all have the cups and liquid from the Temperance card. It's such an odd little deck! Thanks for the video!

Thanks for those tips! In some ways the deck is cute but I'm not sure it's all that helpful for reading...

Hi Robert, I have the standard size, it was interesting to hear your explanation of the deck’s visual details on the minors. A great video.

What an eclectic deck! On one side, it consists of 'old'-looking majors, and on the other, of 'modern'-looking court cards. And then there are 'pop' pip cards, for the lack of a better word. To my 'classy' Venus in Capricorn, only majors from this deck appeal. The rest is somewhat dubious. In any case, thank you for the thorough review of the deck, dear Robert!

Hello. New subscriber here. I haven´t watched Tarotube for a long time. But maybe I will start doing that again. This deck looks a bit all over the place. A lot of different styles mixed together, as you said. I won't buy it, but it was nice to see a video about it. I like mini decks too.

I like this deck. It’s called ‘the Symbolic Tarot of Wirth’ for a reason. I don’t think they tried to pretend it to be a 78 card authentic wirth deck. Now I have quite a collection of Wirthe decks because I was always searching for the Real Deal. Although Wirth designed the majors twice, they were never published as a deck during his life, just as illustrations in his books. I can sum up all the Wirth tarot decks I acquired over the years but what I can say, most of them come with a special twist. Lo Scarabeo published the majors but used a terrible glitter guilding which ruined the whole deck. They also published a 78 card deck called “the Universal Wirth. Wirths original designs were redrawn in an (imho) ugly cartoon style. Nevertheless this deck is very intriguing because they made the odd but genius choice to use the Eudes Picard System for the minors. The US games/AGM version is nice but has little to do with Wirths artwork. Everything is redrawn in a nice 70’s art style. I got very frustrated because the only “real” Wirth deck I could find was a flimsy deck out of a book or a very rare and expensive Indy deck. Then I saw a scene in the movie Sherlock Holmes where Sherlock visits a tarot reader and SHE USED A REAL WiRTH DECK! They had recreated the first version of this deck and added one minor arcana card because that was significant for the story. (2 of cups) see czcams.com/video/ysGpRDaPBh8/video.htmlsi=5nJB59wR_w_wlZBH
This was it! I searched for the original Wirth designs and had them printed at MPC. That is still my favorite major only deck! In later years there were more Wirth decks published, some very authentic and good quality. But my favorite Wirth deck is still my own ‘Sherlock Holmes deck’. Because it depicts his first 1889 design, not his later 1926 deck.

Marseille decks seem to me to be eminently numerological when it comes to the pips. Have you ever explored the numerology side of tarot? Has it been helpful to you? I tried to study in that way, but I found that different sources attribute very different meanings to the numbers, so I left it at that. Loved the video, have a great week :)

@@BluesBrogio my feeling is that numerology appeals to me up to a certain point, but I don’t have an in-depth feel for it.
