      To answer your question, we did have a few holidays here in Finland early this month (e.g. our independence day on December 6th) but i think this might not be the reason for no reply.

      @@mridulahmed5562 Sure! In this program we are studying just as normal and yes, there is a final exam for some courses. There are 2 types of final assignment which are final exam or final essay, so this is different, it depends on what courses you are in. If you fail the first chance of the exam, you are allowed to retake it for two chances more (I believe) and if you still fail, it means that you also fail the whole course and need to retake the whole semester next time (only if you want to). That's it! I hope it helps and this sounds scarying maybe a lil bit but trust me the instructors are great and will help you along.

If you are applying for August 2022 intake then I think u will have to have your high school diploma earlier as u will start receiving conditional offer letter by April - May. For this you will have to have your high school diploma. If you are planning to study a bit later like 2023 then I think u will have more time to submit the diploma.

    And another question, is this meant for someone who either is finishing high school now and/or has financial support from parents that will pay for living costs and expenses or someone who has big savings that can cover him staying and living while studying?
    If yes, can you make video for someone who wants to come, but don't have financial support of any kind that is either from eu/eea or outside, please? Thank you in advance 👋✌️😊

      For universities in general EU/EEA citizens don't have to pay a tuition fee. For Pathway to Finland, it likely is still going to require you to pay as its main focus seems to be to allow non-EU/EEA citizens a more affordable way to come to study in Finland.

      @RoadtoFinnish  Před 2 lety +3

      Hey Aqib and thanks so much for the question. This is a very hard question for me to answer because its so heavily dependent on the individual person. Edunation's Pathway programme is an excellent choice if you have a feeling that you are not yet quite ready to apply to study in Finland on your own OR if you value the way that this programme prepares you for your life in Finland. To be quite frank, i cant really recommend either way but what i would instead recommend is that you look a bit more into the Pathway programme and weight the pros and cons of both paths. You could e.g. set up a call with the Edunation team (through their website) and have a chat with them about this topic. Im sure they will be able to give you an idea whether Pathway is the right option for you OR if you should apply to study directly (which you can also do via Edunation).
      Sorry for not being able to give you a direct yes or no answer to this. I hope that this gives you a bit more context around the topic and helps you take the next step. Regardless of which way you go, im keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞

    • @RoadtoFinnish
      @RoadtoFinnish  Před 2 lety

      No, a residence permit is not guaranteed as they are always processed separately by the Finnish immigration service. However, it is extremely rare for the immigration service to deny your residence permit application if you have been accepted to study in Finland. Most of the reasons for a denial have to do with security issues (not likely to apply to you) but the most common reason why a student permit is denied is if they do not have the financial resources to live in Finland. Please read more about this from the website of the Finnish immigration service: migri.fi/en/income-requirement-for-students

      Im sorry but i cant help people individually with these matters. I simply dont have the time and resources to do that. If you have any questions regarding university studies in Finland, please ask your questions here in the comment section and i might be able to get back to you. However, please note that im not an immigration expert and if your questions are specifically about immigration, i would ask you to contact the Finnish immigration service.

    You are being too modest. While working on my master's in education, I learned that Finland had the best schools on Earth. I also learned of the Finnish people's love of learning.

    is there a age limit to apply to bachelor degree through pathway program

    • @RoadtoFinnish
      @RoadtoFinnish  Před rokem +1

      Hey Nalin and thanks for the question. No, i do not think there is an age restriction for the Pathway programme. If there was, this would be explicitly mentioned on the Edunation website.

      Hey, prospective Education's student, lets get in touch and I am pretty sure there isn't, instead there is age limit for applicants that are under 18

    I need a job.
    I need a entry level/Internship ..even unpaid.
    I can do UX / UI design & front end dev
    I'm black, don't tell me to leave an application cause you know you'll never pick me.
    Everyone has denied me my dreams..everyone always goes with a native

    • @RoadtoFinnish
      @RoadtoFinnish  Před 2 lety

      Im sorry if you feel that you have been discriminated against and you feel that there is no point in leaving an application. However, i can personally say that i could not care less about who you are and what demographics you belong to (not to mention that discriminating based on race, sex, ones sexual orientation etc..) is illegal. I simply care about the value that you could bring the company that i represent at each moment in time. If you have the necessary skills and motivation to help me/us build a company that i work for AND you are better suited to a potential position than other applicants, you would get the job.
      I naturally do not know what kind of experiences you have gone through but i need to also remind you that while it is illegal to discriminate applicants based on their personal traits (full more comprehensive description can be read here: www.tyosuojelu.fi/web/en/employment-relationship/non-discrimination/discrimination), there are still situations where native people might be more suitable for a job. These reasons could, for example, be certain language skill requirements, need for deep knowledge of the local markets and customers, or something similar. Even in these cases, firms are not allowed to hire a Finn just because they are Finnish. Instead, the reasons can be any of the ones that i listed or more. Im sure you understand this.
      Again, i cant speak for yourself but i personally do not tolerate racist behaviour or practices one bit.

    god damn $2k... i expected like 200

    • @RoadtoFinnish
      @RoadtoFinnish  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh darn.. 200€ would be awesome but im pretty sure that would not be possible for anyone to organise. Edunation has a large staff that they have to pay and so on and 200€ per applicants would not make it possible to run the company :S. I know 1900€ is a lot but its great value considering the benefits that you get from completing the programme 👍. Also, do remember that
