Storyline:
Slim Pickens makes a return appearance in the role of shifty, slovenly mountaineer Jim Leyton. Incredibly, Jim has become engaged to the lovely Julie (Laurie Mitchell), despite his long-standing feud with Julie's well-named father Grizzly (Robert Middleton). Hoss Cartwright is yanked into this powderkeg situation when Jim asks him to be best man at the wedding (if, indeed, there ever is a wedding!) Treble-chinned character actor Byron Foulger appears as the Parson. Written on rottentomatoes.com

Big ol Hoss rides in to be the best man like a clean county gent, ends up fighting his best friend, getting knocked out by the bridegroom's father, and ends filthy as a ballroom fight, and then they get married, go figure, on the Bonanza. Too much country fun.
Them changing the saloon sign to the church sign kills me lol😂😂😂✅💯👍!
Saloons were the court house too. All drinks suspended while court in session.
Slim Pickens real name was Louis Burton Lindley Jr. So glad he used such a creative stage name. I remember him most for Blazing Saddles.
Thanks so much Señor Grjngo for posting these childhood memories. In the days when families watched T.V. together and the kids were the remote control.
Old TV was the best 😉😂 Thx for your nice comment!🤠
I remember him from Dr Strangelove.
I didn't know that, thanks 😊
@@AndrewVelonis As he rode that ICBM all the way down shouting, *"YEE HAW!"*
“Somebody’s gonna have to ride to town and bring back a shit load of dimes”.
Ya gotta love Bonanza!!! Pure, clean fun!!!
Slim Pickens “somebody’s going to have to ride to town and bring back a shit load of dimes”.
Becoming good friends with someone you fought.... Ahhhh yes best friendship ever made
I love those old fashion windows opened up that opened up to the inside!!!
Love watching bonzana reruns on CZcams and movies grew up with my family
"You planning on shooting her? You ain't even married yet." That is the best line yet.
he lull
That changing of the saloon sign had me laughing for some reason.
Because it was FUNNY!
Im loving all the Bonanza reruns, thank you for sharing......Happy Easter everyone.
Thank you. Happy Easter to you as well.
Thank you for watching. Happy Easter 😄
40:54 I ain't got words for such an insult except for a punch to the face!
Gotta love Slim Pickins
Slim Pickens always makes me think of Oklahoma for some reason.
Texas, to me! He was a Californian, though.
@@PaulGoodeK
It blows me away that he was a Californian. As soon as you hear him talk, you think Oklahoma.
Entertainment full on 👍👌😘🥰😍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You know what I think we all won after all
Funny when he was musing about why a pretty little gal would marry him, and Haas replied to the effect that he better get to church before she changes her mind.😂
For ever....I love you......
Bill Clark was Dan Blocker's and Lorne Greene's stunt double.
I miss sanity and the good old days....
Putting up land for a poker hand of "pair of tres, Ace, Jack, four". LOL
Imagine men today saying it was the best dang fight i ever had in my life, instead of saying im going back for revenge.
👍👌👏 Another great comedy episode and a great cast too. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series.
Best regards luck and health.
Robert Middleton was a terrific character actor. Don’t miss him as Gary Cooper’s sympathetic pal in Friendly Persuasion.
'Friendly Persuasion,' .... Yeah, Haven't seen that in 20+ years 🙂
This is a superb comedy episode with an amazing cast and great writing.
The greatest fight scene ever.
They break so many things in these fights. Maybe that's why the wardrobes are worn again and again in these episodes. LOL.
HOSS BEAT HIM!! GRIZ ROBBED HOSS 😂
It's pretty hard to top the fight scene Hoss and Jim Leyton had in half a Rogue! Rotten of Grizzly to hit Hoss afterwards;
LOVE it. 💋❤😛😊😊😊
That was the best one yet!! Love it.
The plates the two are eating off, have been used in other episodes.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Saudades...assisti muito....very much....wonderful....the best its pelicula....oh! My god....harey
Just had to see this one again. Any episode with Slim in it. I saw Slim break character briefly right after 14:00. A little snicker than trying hold a laugh back. Now they would do 12 more takes to make it perfect. I so love they leave these moments in. Adds so much character to the show.
Tank....
Nice American church wedding 🤣🤣🤣
Slim Pickens: "He fined me two dollars for busting up a saloon!".
His Fiance: "But he suspended the sentence."
Slim Pickens: "It's the principle of the thing. ... What I did to that saloon was worth ten dollars any day!"
The writers clearly had a great time with this one.
Happy. What 😮😅😅😅you mean Happy new year 😅😅😅😅😅😅😊
“I’m allergic to crossfire.” Good line. Slim Pickens didn’t say that one. He’s a good actor in any role and an excellent horseman. Many rodeo metals once he got past the “slim pickens” where he chose his actor’s name.
I didn't know Slim was a rodeo star!
Anybody notice that Ben was right?
Haas would have beat both of them
Why did they have Grizzly hit Hoss ? !
Haus is a big boy...and a Christian!
All the best folks are!
Hoss keeps getting whooped. Don't like it.
