Couple of things I noticed reading the comments and Del's replies on that filler video... First of all Del seems to think that the amount of hardener you add literally dictates how hard or soft the filler ends up once it is set. He doesn't understand that it has any effect on how fast it sets. Second thing, in the video he says that body shop guys will probably explain how it works to him in the replies... which they do... which he then argues with and says he knows what he is doing and the filler/harder ratio is "just a suggestion".
I assumed given his impatience and inability to spend time preparing, measuring or anything really that he adds hardener to speed up curing so he can get on to painting.
@@isitmeorwhat Yeah he makes a couple of comments similar to this: "unlike Bondo, our P.38 takes hours to go properly hard and then only like plastic... hit it with a huge wedge of hardener and it sets like concrete", where he talks about it still being "like plastic" when it sets so he adds more hardener to make it "hard".
