I think that with time and software updates the Cameras on Samsung flagships just gets worse and worse. I have my 21 ultra and comparing the photos it took from day 1 to now there's a difference in details and processing. It looks a lot softer now than before.
@@francisco5500 my cameras doesn't have any scratches of some sort as I really take good care of them but the photo quality it takes just keeps getting worse every update. So I decided not to update it to One Ui 5.1
The processing power of the newer phones definitely show on the main cam footage of the A54, but if you pay attention to the background, it's clear that the S20 Ultra did a much better job (on both front and main) at stabilizing the video
My points exactly I'm using a OnePlus 7 pro and would never substitute it for a long of midrangers today. Flagship phones have a density in them when being used
The front facing camera looks more natural on the a54 by far so I prefer it. If we're talking about quality though. The A54 has worse quality in front facing, and s20U has less quality on rear
@@SomeOne-rw6gz Battery life :( I got the A54, It's kinda good, I really liked it so far, No downside for me, I wish it had 4K 60fps video recording. It's not laggy at all, Note that i only use it for calling and social medias, Nothing more :D
Not really I have both and the midrange stayed with me for 3 then went broke they are good for a cheap extra phone. if it stays for 3 month with the owner then that's the owner problem.
I would say the A54, although on the front selfie camera it was a cool tint, but the rear camera had good quality, not too bright or too dark, but just right! The S20 Ultra had more brighter and warmer colors, which could be good for certain areas like night scenery, but at this scenario, it was too warmed up and brightening, which is not quite good. I'll choose the A54 for camera quality, the S20 Ultra I would choose for performance.
Honestly my problem with phones is the feature set. I want wireless charging, but then you're usually moving up to a flagship, but idc about the camera that good and the processor that squeezes just a bit more. Really, I'd happily buy an A-series phone if they had wireless charging and if I liked Samsung.
If only Galaxy S23 has that purple color like in A54 I would definitely buy it, but they don't have it. I really miss bora purple. The lavender color is just too pink. 😭💜
The Note 20 Ultra was my driver for the past 3 years or so... despite drops, daily use and all... kept pristine and was running better than many new midrangers 😂 now... S24 Ultra is from another #dimension
Always flagship is always camera and all around king. But the software update is the limitation of the devices, but the rear is planted is all time flagship
I have the a34 as of right now, but I previously used a note 8 which is over 6 years old now. the back glass is cracked the battery has issues and the phones lags a lot, the camera however has always been consistently great
I got an S21 Ultra for $300 about a week ago. Aside from there not being a warranty and software support not likely to last as long, the phone is great. Id say its likely better to buy an old flagship rather than buying a current budget/mid-range phone.
I actually prefer the s20U on the front facing but i think the rear camera looks better on thw a54
I agree
Grainy on the a54
You are absolutely right! Finally someone who can actually put a comment pertaining to the actual topic. Most people in these comments can't even comprehend what this video is even about lol
Same
In my honest opinion, I'm choosing the A54 camera wise and S20 Ultra performance wise.

The a54 video looks more natural, so I prefer that one

you can check the s20u review at its time
s20 way better, better specs and processor, faster phone
agreed 😊😅

@@marcm.official no it doesn't you can clearly see how process this one is
Rear facing camera is way better on the A54s
I think both are evenly comparable!
Yes the midrange phone does seem to have a decent camera
It feels like the old flagship has too much AI magic and the colors are too vivid
just use the RAW camera app to disable it or get rid of it
I think that with time and software updates the Cameras on Samsung flagships just gets worse and worse. I have my 21 ultra and comparing the photos it took from day 1 to now there's a difference in details and processing. It looks a lot softer now than before.
They clearly want you to buy a new phone
I noticed the same thing with my S10+. I attribute it to the wear and tear on the camera glass that's occurred over the years.

The new midrange is better. The midrange phone video looked more realistic. The S20 Ultra video looked too overexposed to me.

News Flash, you won't be able to give a correct answer if your phone's picture resolution is not higher than both phones
Overall, I am with A54
IMO, Colours look nearly natural on A54. S20 Ult. has a weird and kind of an over saturation
Yep , contrast and shadows matter
the old flagship makes him look bubblicious
S20u. Flagship phones are there for a reason.
I still use a broken samsung galaxy s10 with a broken touchscreen on the top only in apps
The front facing camera looks more natural on the a54 by far so I prefer it. If we're talking about quality though. The A54 has worse quality in front facing, and s20U has less quality on rear

@@wecrashgames ya it only falls back when you play tense games that requires a good processor.. other than that the midrangers do good for the price!
The old phone, the new keeps changing the color every time you moved your head
So hard to tell which one is better. The 1st video looks okay and the last one. There are four of em
The mid range has significantly way less image processing and looks more natural and the flag ship looks a little more vibrant and less dull
Me with old midrange : 🗿🗿🗿
Do more of these compares
Old flagships are always better than newer midrange phones. Don't waste your money on the newer crap they'll become stale after a few months
Not really I have both and the midrange stayed with me for 3 then went broke they are good for a cheap extra phone. if it stays for 3 month with the owner then that's the owner problem.
Problem are the lack of security and major updates
Once a Flagship, always a Flagship
I'm watching this on a 5 year old midrange Samsung phone (A70) lmao it still actually slaps
Rear facing was WAY better on the A54
I see S20 series(not fe) has problems with color on photo and videos

Lol , didn't expect it to be that easy for the s20 Ultra to beat the A54

A54 looks natural, i prefer the a54
It's all about perspective. Some like a brighter vivid video and some don't
Flagship phone looks more realistic for both camera sets
S20 has better lighting while the a54 picks up a bit more detail
I agree, but the a54 looks more natural as well.
a54 front and S20 U rear
The colors look better on the Flagship, but the quality looks better on the Midrange.
It is all about ISP which is rarely getting updated for midrange
The mid range is more better than the old flaship device
"Once a Flagship! Always a Flagship!!"
very impressive how good the new middle range have gotten
the flagship might be old, but that can do better than a midrange
Is it me or the last one look better than is recording camera
Why is it that when a phone gets old the camera develops a faint white tint..like no matter how much you clean it just doesn't go away 😭😭😭😭
Once , Flagship always Flagship ❤
people pick the old one because it's brighter but trust me if you are somewhere remotely dark the photos are absolute shit
Please make a full video. This is super interesting!
S20's front camera
A54's rear camera, looks more natural
A54 for detail and color. S20 for less jittery video and flattering lighting.
I'm a certified member of the 4 year old midrange gang 😎
The color differences are so ... different.. I think this mostly paints their photo philosophy changes
I think both are pretty even as far as the camera goes.
You should make a video about the Poco F5 Pro vs a Galaxy S22 Ultra
Honestly looks like the back camera of the A is similar quality to the front camera of the S20.
Me with a 3 year old lg phone wishing they still made phones😢
The old flagship a million times over
I like the A54 rear cam. The S20 rear cam looks slightly overexposed

Well now 4 months later you’re using an IPhone 13 Flagship 😂. God did
The a54 rear looked WAY better, but it shouldn't have. That's still a relevant sensor. Seems like Samsung might be up to something Apple-y
Damn in the s20 ultra video he look like hes going to pop
The A54 rear Cam looks more natural in the colors
The camera from the newer phone came a bit warmer it might be due to default settings and the scratches on the old lens, which seemed blurry 😅
Actually both..but i prefer old flagship
