    You can keep the output full-vector but add asymmetrical wave variation by adding a second Wiggle Path - only this time put it below the Repeater so it will shift each line differently vs all of them identically; The effect hierarchy is just as important within a shape layer as it is with plugins, etc.
    The second Wiggle Paths will need very different size and detail settings than the first one to get optimal results.

    Really cool, i've always relied on RG 3D stroke for this kind of effects, but with every new ae version it seems to be faster.

      3D stroke would be good! Historically, I always gravitate towards Particular, but with their new subscription model and new interface, it's more of a headache sometimes haha.
