We had Blue represent us few years ago, one of our biggest bands ever, and still didn't come close to winning although they prevented us from finishing last AGAIN that year lol

She was also told she couldn't have braids in her hair, or have an afro, and her appearance and her music had to appeal to white people. WTF?! Seriously. Early on in her career she was told that there was no more room for another black artist. I can't believe people still have these attitudes. I'm not sure why they thought she wouldn't appeal to white people. How much music has originated from, and been inspired by black culture?
