Let the sun talk was a god level album for his first.
I came across Mavi's music by happenstance. Needed more Earl Sweatshirt lofi jazz rap sounds, and there it was. The interview has given me a different outlook than what the music has, which I found to be misanthropic, sorta dejected from the world. Interestingly, the personality on display here is more jovial; more open. I wonder if that would reflect more in his next record. What a really promising act, from those early SoundCloud mixtapes to his studio releases. Really excited to see how he evolves with time.
Your vocabulary is insane
if you can put me on to more sounds like MAVI and Earl

NAS THE 🐐
Nas isn’t the Goat,,,Rakim is seriously better than nas big time,,,real talk and facts
@@vernonjohnson1198 Rakim definitely up there. But HOV, NAS and BIGGIE better in my opinion.
@@kickdreaming you seriously don’t know your hip hop culture music history at all with that statement at all,, Rakim single handily changed the entire landscape for all rappers and emcees including nas and biggie and Rakim invented flow and lyricsim,,biggie and nas didn’t do anything like that at all,,, Biggie talked about the typical streets/player bull sh,,t which is seriously nothing special and nas was the first emcee to use different producers because he didn’t have his own sound,,,and were is nas one biggie”s one verse classic like Rakim”s iconic one verse classic with the iconic one verse classic from the album that changed the entire landscape for all rappers and emcees including nas and biggie and the track is called paid in full the title track from the iconic album called paid in full,,,Rakim is seriously harder than both nas and biggie and he only cursed 5 times in a 30 year music career,,,,nas and biggie can’t touch that,,, real talk and facts
Hov can’t touch Rakim either,,just listen to the watcher 2 track and Eminem killed jay on his own track called revenge and that’s never happened to Rakim
Also listen to the track called holy are you by Rakim,,,when he said my rhymes flow different like a hieroglyphics, mind prolific infinite like mathematics the first language then take that and add grahfics,,,,the ion the Nike classic track with nas on it Rakim said the best bars on the entire track when he said,,,,ask the teenagers and OG”s and ask the kids what’s the definition of a classic is timeless so age don’t count in the booth when your flow stays submerged in the fountain of youth,,,,no other rapper or emcee can ever say or anything like including hov nas and biggie and Rakim wrote a book called sweat the technique,,real talk and facts and listen to the the tracks by Rakim called follow the leader and microphone fiend and lyrics of fury and the 18th letter and when it comes to speaking about nyc jay has a track with Alicia keys called Empire State of mind and Rakim has a track called New York Ya there produced by dj premier and you tell me who’s track is the best
