The God of War series has one of the best musical pieces in videogame history.
Ones like Colossus of Rhodes from GoW 2 or Vengeful Spartan from GoW 1 are greatly composed.
But Poseidon's Wrath from GoW 3 is my favorite out of all of them.
Do not forget "Glory Of Sparta" and "Brothers Of Blood".
Some Bear Mcreary songs for the new games are good to, even I having a personal distaste for his compositions and his obsession with taikos.
The Dragon, Alfheim and The Hidden Beast is goated to my ears and blends so well in the gameplay.
Other great tracks from this score are: Anthem of the Dead, Pandora's Song, The Three Judges, The Muse's Song, Tides of Chaos and Brothers of Blood. The GoW I-III Soundtracks are underrated in my opinion but I'm glad to see more and more listeners going back checking them out recently. Also, what you say at the end is very true. No matter how original you think the technique or approach you're using is, chances are... Somebody has already done it! That brings me back to one of my earlier music classes as a kid. Our teacher would play songs that we were farmiliar with, and then show us where it was "stolen" from. His car was broken into at the time so he used the word steal quite a bit that day. We all knew what he meant.
Regarding the ending commentary, Something I heard years ago: Creativity is the art of remembering something and forgetting where you heard it.

Can you react to some work made by John Powell? It makes me sad how there’s not much videos reacting to his works, even if he’s one of the bests composers of Hollywood now.

You should listen to Battle B2 from Shin Megami Tensei IV, it incorporates a lot of heavy metal and synth elements and I think you would like it

This one is great, but the best one has to be The End Begins (To Telos Arhizi) from GoW2 :) Any song that has a chorus with "Patricide! Genocide!" in it, is serious :)))
