I remember hearing this for the first time and was blown away. I love the Norse saga god of war games
lmao, I just looked up what "Deliverance" meant and being set free makes a lot more sense now.
I thought it had something to do with delivery. 😂
He did deliver his fists to Kratos, that's for sure haha
I didn’t pay much attention to this song when I played this game, but it was much more noticeable when I watched a friend play through it. Especially since this song plays essentially every time you fight Baldur
The first time this track comes up is right in the first fight against the "Stranger" aka Bauldr and of course later for the fight from the Mountain down to the Lake on the Dragon where you end up in Helheim again and the final fight at the end.
That's crazy it shows up that many times but gets kinda drowned out among the voice lines and action D:
@@JessesAuditorium To be fair I can't remember if the full track plays in every part or if it loops a shorter version for the first encounter, been a little over a year ago since I finished the game myself and they tend to only release the complete versions of the soundtrack. Also to answer your question at the end, I tend to remember big boss music myself, though since I've been playing FFXIV myself it becomes hard to keep track of all of them in my head for obvious reasons. With that said, while I know you have your list, there is some music from the last part of the Pandaemonium Raid you haven't heard yet which is really good, so looking forward to when you eventually get around to it :D
I love the music In the God of war franchise, the music is always beautifully done.
I immediately looked this song up after I finished the game. It's probably the song I most remember after the Blades reveal music.
This happens to me also. It happened to me a lot in FFXVI. Such incredible music in that game, but you're so assaulted visually and gameplay wise, you never really truly have a chance to appreciate the music like you should. I went back and watched other people play it on stream and was blown away by Shiva's first theme, all of the Find the Flame interludes. So nice to be able to appreciate a game from a different perspective.
It's all the Baldur fight music in a single track. First 3rd is outside the house, middle 3rd is on the dragon, last 3rd is the final boss theme. So you're a third right.
What's the term I'm looking for for this, musically? Is it "suite"?
Another great God of War song that you probably forgot that you heard is 'Brothers of Blood' from God of War 3.
Dude i totally feel ya, I can't remember where in the game this was. If the soundtrack does a good job it doesn't break your immersion, but I think there are some unique cases like Final Fantasy
Your seriously underrating these games soundtracks ragnarok won goty for soundtracks and well deserved they’re amazing
nobody does it like my man Bear McCreary
I want to say this is from when you're pursuing Baldur on his dragon after the stuff at the Jotunheim portal on the mountain.
Its from all of the Baldur fights. This is the complete soundtrack piece but certain parts are mixed into each of the Baldur encounters.
@@wavedash101 Makes sense!
How fitting the amount of time you've spent in both Midgard and Midgar😬
please react to final fantasy 16 Ascension soundtrack . its the best track of the game
