    Hello my friend. Thanks for this video. It helps me. Im building a Siccario with similar configuration. 2 hobbywing 60 esc. Brain FC and 8 Xnova 2812 (1100kv). You recommend yo leave the stock caps that came with the escs and add 2 of 1000uf (panasonic)??? Im planning to use only one XT90 with bigger battery. And connect one esc to the other with 10AWG cable. Then frome the back esc take out the power cable with the xt90. What do you think? I see that you have experience with this. Thanks a lot !!!!!

  • @bentoogood

    How did you connect the 2 ESCs together and then into the FC?

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 2 lety +2

      The 2 esc goes into the FC directly. You need an fc which has 8 motor inputs

    Wowwwww...... this is so fire my friend!!!! Thank you for guiding us like this! Quick question, for my thicc... would I be able to hook up my two esc (same esc as you) to only one 6S battery (Xilo 22.2v, 750C, 2250mah)? And how could I tell? I am new to electronic/drones so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 2 lety

      Thanks friend! I don't think a single 2250mah 75c battery would be able to last long, probably for testing you can try but I wouldn't fly with that setup. At least a 4200-6200mah would be ideal. Most people use 5200mah if not mistaken. Honestly if you are new to electronics/drones I would not recommend you to build something like this, and should try getting more experience building 5" drones first before building one of these.

    Noob question: you soldered battery wires together in parallel, is it not good idea to use each batteries separately? 1 battery for 1 ESC?

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 2 lety

      No, you want both esc to be getting the exact same voltage.

    Can you explain the capacitor setup you have and why you have it? I am waiting for all my parts to come in this week! So Excited!

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 2 lety

      Hey man, I am running 2x 1000uf and 4x 350uf on a Rush PFB connected by wires. Honestly from what I had learnt so far, I wouldn't recommend this capacitor setup and would just suggest you put as much caps as you can physically fit, as close to the ESC as possible. If you are using the stock Hobbywing 60A ESC you can try leaving those there, else try fitting 4x 1000uf as close as possible to the ESC pads. Sorry for the late reply, was super busy with work in the past few months, I hope your build went well!

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 3 lety +1

      Welcome bro! Actually I need to make a follow up video soon as I had changed certain things about the build already. After building it I had added another 2 extra 1000uf 35v caps for even more capacitance and had changed the FC to the Matek F722HD

    • @LZRFPV
      @LZRFPV Před 3 lety +1

      @@IgnitionFPV interesting. Why did you change the FC? My biggest fear with this build is the tuning

    • @IgnitionFPV
      @IgnitionFPV  Před 3 lety +2

      @@LZRFPV I had 2 crashes due to unknown cause. The blackbox shows the gyro data suddenly becoming garbage on a front flip, weirdest thing is I put that Radix on my 5" quad and there was no issues at all. So just decided to change it to a Matek F722HD and add more capacitance for that extra insurance. Honestly no idea why the Radix did not work on my build but so far with the Matek it had been pretty good. I'd suggest purchasing the Matek as it is easier to get blackbox log out of it and most of the tunes online are based off the Matek board. The Radix board requires a different filter strategy compared to the Matek as it uses a different gyro. I'll be releasing another video soon with some sample footage but won't be talking too in depth about tuning and the technical stuff in that video.
