    What ive learned over the years with my $400 metal detector is that you should dig up everything because you never know what is going to come out of the ground. Ive found car keys and gold rings for people who have lost them, antique silver cap gun, buried jewelry stored in old plastic containers...all over Canada from west to the east. It sounds nice to have an expensive machine but you can still have fun with an affordable one!

    If my math is right that is $30-$60 dollars for a 1/2 a gram to a whole gram which is far better than I do digging clad in a day. Also didn't know that the Elliptical coil goes up to 70hz where the 9" round tops off at 54khz. If your planning to try this order the ORX with the Elliptical coil. Very interesting not sure I have the patience for it though.

    • @koala-teesinc9189

      The ORX is just a simplified Deus. If you hunt for coins and relics I would say the Deus, as it's more adjustable and has more programs. For primarily gold nuggets and occasional coin and relic hunting go with the ORX.

    • @koala-teesinc9189
      @koala-teesinc9189 Před 3 lety

      Either will work just fine. But with the ORX having 2 preset gold programs, it makes it nice to just turn on and go. The other thing that's nice with the ORX is being able to have an iron tone when using IAR disc and iron probability meter. So I give a slight edge to the ORX for strictly gold nugget hunting.
