When Jason and Peter read that actor, producer, director, author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Bryan Cranston was retiring to spend more time with his family, in France, or something like that…they had to find out if it was true. Why would an actor in his prime retire now? The actual answer may surprise you. Really, no Really!
He has two Tony Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Academy Award nomination - and you probably know him best as Walter White from the series Breaking Bad which won him 6 Primetime Emmys.
In this in-studio sit-down, Bryan addresses his curtain call, takes a deep dive into his creative process, and reveals some quite novel and shocking life experiences…like being wanted for murder!

You know who could really have a great podcast? That Lloyd Braun
Why can't this podcast be more like Lloyd Braun's??
@@variousartists7060 Isn't he in the nut house!?
Your not crazy for making’s this comment 😂
Serenity now, insanity later.
Aint no way I’ve discovered a Jason Alexander podcast before it’s blown up! Let’s go love this man!
im 3 weeks late and saying same!
I can't believe it here we go summer of george
I am literally in awe that George Costanza has a podcast, this will be huge a year from now
I just found out about this a few hour hours ago and now i'm here. This is breaking my brain
It’s been around almost a year now though…
@@Chauncey4050 It is kinda crazy how a video with these names only has 5k views after two weeks.
Can't stand ya
In aww?
I’m just discovering he has a podcast…and the first thing I thought was “I didn’t know he had a podcast with Pacino
😂😂😂😂😂😂
So glad I'm not alone lol
Bro. Haha. I just commented the same then did a quick scroll. Ha.
I am not alone, we are Legion. 😆
Its the real Guy Pacino Played in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Wait… that’s not al Pacino???
Glad to see Tim Whatley doing well
Jason Alexander is absolutely brilliant.
Very pleased to have found his channel here 👍🏻👍🏻
Very happy that Jason Alexander and Al Pacino have their own podcast now.
Holy hell!
Jason Alexander has a podcast with 1990's Al Pacino!
I always knew Jason was a heck of a producer; but I mean the logistics alone must be nearly impossible! ... Impossible Jason!!
Subscribed.
"I’d rather have experiences than things" Lovely man. ❤
To be fair, when he didn’t have things, he probably felt differently
It's always people who can afford things, and have things that say that.
@@4747da
Absolutely true but there’s many people who’s got more than enough who’s still chasing that ego trip forever.
His acting in “Your Honor” was masterful.
Good to have Bryan Cranston on your show!
Jason Alexander and Bryan Cranston...two actors everyone loves but you know if you met them in real life, you'd be disappointed.
Maybe, but Cranston seems like the sort of guy you'd get along with as long as you're polite.l and don't bother him. Of course he's a great actor so maybe he's been pretending the whole time and is really a flaming asshole.
I don't really know about It Jason. He seems pretty self-contained and not all that approachable.
Came here from Howie Mandel Does Stuff.
Great podcast, love Jason, can’t wait to binge what I haven’t seen and be here for whatever comes next.
Yeah me too. Great to know this podcast exists!
Me too!
Me four
Jason Alexander and Brian Cranston, god tier actors.
..you are killing it... independent George 😂❤🎉
Bryan Cranston will always be the MAN to me!! What an amazing actor he is!!
Brian is a perfect example of people just wanting to see him, to see the person. Like a friend. Entertainment assumes an act, a role, a part, but with Jason and Brian, we just like to see them, being genuine and entertaining is their shtick.
I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation

Jason Alexander playing George was the same as Steve Carrel playing Michael from the office, sadly he never capitalized on it and went out of his way to cover it up. I'm overly thrilled to see him doing a podcast.
Love this! I’m going to watch every single episode 😊
Awesome show, wish I knew about this sooner
Fantastic Episode. It feels so great to hear another Costanza line
Serenity now!!
Jason, so great to see you and hear you around here, this is awesome. Hugs from Argentina.
Life just got so much more exciting because of this show! Thanks a trillion!
Amazing podcast! Love it
Can’t believe I hadn’t known about this podcast. Now I’m a happy ol man.
insane podcast two of my favorite actors
A very underrated podcast.
Not underated
Unknown I just came across this now through my feed
The algorithm is learning
@@NickTaylorRickPowers Which technically meant underrated lol.
The "If Jesse Pinkman had been George Costanza" toward the end was wonderful!
Omg George talking to Walter White was the funniest thing Ive ever seen. Thank u guys for this.. and now I am subbed.
Loved the dynamics.
A really great podcast❤❤
I could listen to Jason the whole day
Great Guest! Great show!
This is my new fave podcast!
loved jason on howies show, looking forward to this
Jason Alexander should write a book as if he was George Costanza. It should be autobiographical. 📚📕📓
New subscriber here I absolutely love George Costanza ..! What a character I’m def gonna love this pod !
2 Seinfeld cast together since show aired
Good to see you again Jason 😊
What an amazing discussion 🙏🏽
NEVER SUBED SO FAST IN MY LIFE. YOU HAD ME AT JASON ALEXANDER
Jason is always laughing lol so contagious. Oh and the show is good too lol. Really, no, really. 😆🤣👍
Two of my favourite people on the planet. Amazing interview.
This was a great interview.
This was so great.
I'm so glad Hal finally got to enjoy life
This is fascinating!! News to me!
A George freak-out in the beginning, in his shirt and Whatley too!!- i love this episode of RNR👍
You need to get Ed begley on here that man is very interesting he is the real life Dos Equis guy lol like one of the most interesting human beings in Hollywood
Stop calling the man Costanza. R E S P E C T
It’s nice to see where their conversation leads because although they are elite level actors and celebrities they really are just talking life like anybody would with old friends.
jason, peter, really excellent one. thx !
Awesome Episode ❤️💛💚
Just love this show.
Sounds like Bryan’s wife didn’t “fall out of love with acting” as much as Hollywood broke her heart. I’m sure she still loves the craft, just not the business.
This is awesome ❤
Can't retire until y'all finish the Malcolm in the middle reboot 😅 the Creator of breaking bad and Malcolm in the Middle are geniuses both shows you can watch a decade after and they would still be relevant and they're the perfect setup for so many jokes and conspiracies between Hal and Walter White 😅
haha Jason switched on the george improv straight away, amazing
I hope Bryan doesn't retire until he wins an Oscar and an Emmy. He deserves to be an EGOT!
He’s got 6 Emmys already but I agree he deserves an Oscar
My laugh of the day. George Costanza and Walter White teaming up. Imagine Costanza filling in for Jesse. I am dead.............
Amazing!!
George has gone full camo with that shirt against that wall
Can't believe Bryan is 70, he looks 20 years younger. Wow
When Jason talked about his writings, Bryan should have said: And you wrote Acting Without Acting! That was a great book! Congrats! Tell us about that book!
I'd totally love a book from Jason, but I respect the want of privacy, too. I'd support him either way. Love the new changes to the pod, fellas. Keep at it! 😄🩷
It would probably be more like a pamphlet.
Found this from Mike Rowes interview with Tiden . His backstory and present story is pretty interesting ! A good one !! I think. I’ll like this - I need to laugh more. Wit and humor
New here & it’s live 🎉
14:42 Earl Pomerantz had a two hander comedy show on CBC Television with Lorne Michaels before Lorne went to New York.
The camera cut out at 36 second in... I couldn't see Jason anymore. Just wanted to let you guys know so the issue can be corrected in the future.
any questions about Asteroid City? I love that film, and Bryan really seems to understand the layers and how they fit together.
So you were the one who liked that movie? 😂
We all have different taste, and I'm sure the primary reason I really hated that movie was because of my lack of taste. But my God that was epically bad lol.
Reminiscent of Jerry redoing the kitchen in his apartment, lol.
“I want a quieter journey.” - he says from his show on the biggest video platform that’s ever existed
23 seconds in I was like “ why is al Pacino on a podcast “
I could watch them talk all day!!! 😂 and I'd watch a Seinfeld breaking bad show lol
Just discovered this podcast! Love ya Costanza! Lol
Yay! Thank you!
Costanza!!!! My man 😂😂😂
I love to hear random Craig Ferguson praise. He had my favorite talk show of all time.
Eh... nerd correction☝🤓:
38:14 April O'Neil is the reporter from TMNT.
Bring it Jason! Brian Cranston is NOT Retiring! He loves the game- and he's so good at it!
The art vandelay podcast nice
Run Jason, Run! 😂
3....2...1... GO: "Well I just have to say that... " "SAY MY NAME" hahahhaa.
@ 47:07 Jason states that, as George, he has no memory of stealing a clock. I would've bet otherwise. That episode was a true standout (of course many were!) whereas George states, with regard to women, he "grows on them." His date eventually concedes as she sings her little jingle, "Co...Stanza!" Funny stuff!
I will watch anything with Mr. Cranston.
Would love to see you interview David Lee Roth
I have huge respect for people like Jason Alexander who choose to honestly bare their horseshoe, instead of getting hairpiece on their head. Yes they have hairpiece on their head. Where else would they have hairpiece, on their balls?
The character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is not named "April Allen" lol
That is awesome
As the great Selma Diamond once put it, “I laughed; I cried; it became a part of me".
Night court.
I want this podcast to succeed so bad
Appreciate the change up but man let the guest be in the same shot as the interviewers …. 🤦♂️ they both have more than enough resources to do this right .
Yes,that way u know who is talking.
@@edwardlara4936 if you can't tell different voices apart you must have one hell of a time listening to radio or any media that isn't video based
Terrific episode. I like the changes but it was fine before. I know I'm watching a podcast the visual is just the icing on the cake.
Thank you for your work and a brilliant guest. Happy New Year 🎉😊
@@HannaEveBloom yup as long as the audio is good everything else is just gravy
amazing
Costanza, Watley, and Al Pacino from “Heat”?! Really, no REALLY!!!!
Hey it's Dr. Tim Whatley
I was going to do a podcast, then I discovered Really? no, Really? Well done, fellas.
Brian Heisenberg Cransten is great, much better than average and the best. Happy 70th Birthday BC!! 👍
Come at me Jason Alexander- Bring it!
Tim Whatley and George CANTSTANDYA
What episode was that from the library book one?
I thought that was Al Pacino at first!
