Can someone explain why I can't use the L stick to aim my pitch location in a two player game when I use pure analog interface?

I use Meter like old Mvp baseball so it comes natural & my hitting view is strike zone 3 I’m 17-2 in Ranked seasons NMS team

I’m curious if we’ll see a patch to pinpoint and if, in turn, they change the hitting as well because of it

I'm gonna keep it real, I was using meter from MLB 08 alllll the way to September last year. I know, I know lol. I would also hit X before the red-orange area at the back of the meter to conserve pitchers' energies, and only go back that far if I wanted to blow someone away for strike 3. Then I touched Pinpoint for the first time in a ranked game, and by the end of it, loved it. I lost, but the point remains 😂. I tried analog once, found it too difficult. For me, I can't get out of All-Star difficulty in Ranked, so Pinpoint seems to work best for me because it's good enough. Is good enough high praise? Who knows lol

With pin point I was giving up 7 runs a game too many mess perfect pitch’s went back to along now giving up 1 to 2 runs a game

I started using analog because I just can’t get the hang of pinpoint. I’ve been trying since I started playing on 21. I don’t know what it is, maybe I’m too old and my hands aren’t super steady, but I cannot get it to work for me. Analog at least gives me a chance to get close to my mark.

I’m the same. I find it hard to trace but analog I can hit the mark better.

Backdoor pitches have been tougher to throw for years on analog. Thought I was the only one.

I personally like analog more as I find it much easier to get consistent and fast back to back pitches, but I’d say mastering pinpoint will take you far in ranked by making you a much more deadly pitcher

Pinpoint desperately needs a patch! But I’ve been enjoying the rest of the game! Hitting feels better than 22!

I pitch with meter and ive gotten 900+ rating every season since the beginning of MLB 17. Use what you feel comfortable with. Also if you do use meter, do not copy what he does in this video when he tries it, he is lost.

If there’s no patch to fix pinpoint then here I go to master analog. I’ve been on pinpoint for too long for it to be useless now 😩

I'm still using Pulse. I didnt care for pinpoint (to much "extra" just to pitch a ball). I may try analog out though, didn't know about it until now.
