To be fair, part of MiB’s premise is that unless it’s explicitly in their face, most people will happily ignore or explain away alien things. The scene where Kay sees all the alien stuff right in front of him in the city is meant to convey he’s becoming enlightened again to see these hidden in plain sight things.

There’s a deleted scene where they send him to a 4 week paid vacation and send him on a ship flying far away from earth to a planet. He lands down and rises up from the ship to only see those aliens but their 9ft tall. The locker is a door that makes anyone looking through it giant and anything handed through. But when you physically fly there you’re shorter. It’s basically a magical door that makes things huge from its perspective.

As someone who has lived in Nashville since 1987, a shout out for the accuracy in saying that the thermostat going from 84 to 60 back to 84 is "a normal week in Nashville."
In fact, last week it was minus 10 degrees, and within 4 days it was up in the 60's, just over a 70 degree swing.

Midnight Club Still Cancelled Soz that’s one of the best moments in the entire film.
This was one of the first movies that made me realize some sequels were never made to complete a story or to tell a new one, but to make a quick buck. God i remember i was like 7 when i first saw this and i though it was so boring and i loved the first one.
Am I the only one here who is so glad that cinema sins gives Monk the recognition it deserves? And of course I can't leave a comment without talking about the amazing Lara Flynn Boyle. She is incredible!

The reason the "worm" aliens were featured so prominently in this movie is because of the MIB cartoon that ran from '97-'01. I havnt seen it since its original run when I was a kid but I remember the worm guys as some of the funniest characters on the show. My friends and I really liked them & they tested well with other kids in our demographic. Sadly that is how movie execs make decisions. They thought that kids would like the worms for just being there even if they changed their personality to be less funny, more creepy. Same story with the talking dog, but to a lesser extent.
You truly have to have a stick up your ass to not like Frank and the Worm Guys. Man, I've had depression for years and yet still marvel at how much some people suck the joy out of life.

About why K had so many aliens under him in the post office.
First: He was the best agent ever, so after his retiring it is kind of important to keep him under surviallance and also, make his life easier.
Second: about how sliens get so far from manhattan... Noone said they are restricted to manhattan only. In the first movie K said, that most of them leave there, but that is not all of them.
The reason the MiB doesn't worry about Jeff/other aliens most of the time? New Yorkers are unfazed by everything. Seriously. Just go on the subway for a day.

David Cross' Character is the same one, he didn't die in the first movie, he was just stuck to the ceiling, it's a pretty good cameo since he became an alien believer and recognized both J and K.
Finally, the trilogy is done. I have waited since they did Men in Black for this one. And, boy was it satisfying...so satisfying to see this movie get it just desserts.

I actually liked the second movie a lot. I didn't think it was as special as the first, but it was still a lot of fun and had some creative moments. My biggest problem with the movie was how they derailed K's relationship with the love of his life, which was insulting. That was great subtext for his character, and the original movie ended on a warm note with him "waking from his coma." I hated that they had them get divorced off screen. It was a cold and callous move.
yeah, they could have made it that his wife died and done, its less sad if they stayed together but she died.
I totally missed the Puddy joke the first time or two watching this, but it's great.

Quick info : David Cross character, Newton, is actually the same one, he didn't die in the first one even though I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be!
He was hanging from the ceiling. His fate was left ambiguous. They could have had him killed off but the writers I guess figured they could still keep him since they didn't actually show him dying. Kinda feel like he should have been more mentally scarred but with David Cross it makes sense he'd be obsessed
If you watch very carefully, "Newton" blinks while he's stuck on the ceiling, he never died, and yeah the MIB probably flashed his memory, which explains why he's familiar with the MIB and the neuralizer when they pull one out to flash him and his girlfriend.
13:38 I always assumed that David Cross' character in MIB and MIIB were the same guy, where he survived the events of MIB and became obsessed by aliens.
