Here is how to revive kelvin and Virginia in sons of the forest if they fully died in your world. How to revive kelvin is easy just follow along, and if you have any questions about reviving kelvin just let me know!

If you have a bug where the health has disappeared, just rewrite it on your own exactly how it is shown in the video. So after the stats You write \"Health\":100.0,\" - It should look exactly like in the video.

So that virginia is not afraid of you, and if parts of the Json file are missing, there is an application in the Steam guide called "Revive Virginia or Kelvin - Sons of the Forest (without Hard Feelings ❤) " that solves it!, greetings! I put the name because it did not let me share the link.

i think i have a little problem i dont see the the health there isnt even like just health standing there without numbers i double checked if im at the correct line and i am but for some reason i cant find the health stat
the reason why some people do not have virginia type id 10 (but will have the second) is because her body despawned
@roberto.g994copy her whole code from a save where she's alive and paste it right after Kelvin's code

State and Health does not appear for Virginia
If you guys are having issues finding the search terms in the notepad, Make sure you are clicking at the very top (Start) of the notes because the CTRL + F is defaulted to “Search Downwards”. So when it search’s for your phrase you entered it will only search below where your cursor is clicked. I also have the search phrases in the description you can copy and paste to make sure you entered it correctly.
Ehhh i dont find the term state in my code. Only much "PlayerKilled\ can state also be up \"typeid\":9 ?

It worked, he is alive again, honestly not sure why he died, i sent him to get some sticks and after few minutes of him not moving from the same spot i went to his location and found him grunting on the floor, i couldnt do anything to revive him, i tried reloading save file and found him dead....after editing the last line "player killed" it did say 1 but i never attacked him nor intentionaly nor accidentally however i did notice he has pale face and blood all over it....i cant give him any items for heal, cant give any food nor does he eat or drink by himself, maybe bug........now the problem i have is the game doesnt want to save, i have to hold Y and E to make it work...also when walking W and A its like im getting stuck on something....

When I go into these files on the steam os the font is two colours red and black with the true false also having a x in the right corner of each setting or answer. It allows me to edit but when i did this the actual save file in game changed when changing difficulty setting but didn't spawn any enemies at all, this was changing from peaceful to normal. Any idea what I did wrong or why the font appears different on the steam notes called Kate or whatever it is lol
for some reason it's not working for me for kelvin, I did everything right and put his stuff to false gave his health to 100 and state to 2 but it won't work. Same as virginia as well as watching like 10 other videos for virginia but not working and even putting in more code. Also I put the player killed to 0 so idk
I did follow everything on the video. Calvin is alive... Kind of..... He is just laying on the floor and making occasional movements
they changed it now the file you have to edit is compressed and it doesn't say health anymore, i think they changed playerkilled too but someone mentioned you can add \"Health\":100.0, at the beggining of typeid 9 for kelvin, will try but don't know if it works
Can you uncompress, change it then recompress? I noticed it is in a .zip file now and couldn't change it.

For me it said his health was at 20 even though he was completely dead, I changed to 100 and now he is in the state that he needs to be revived but I can't revive him.
same for me, i tried again and it worked
Kelvin walked in front of me and i hit him witg the fire fighter axe and when i tried to het him back it wouldnt let me save
i dont find the health: 0.0, only Anger and Fear
I replaced the “Anger” with “health 100.0” manually (with all the extra signings) and now it worked.
@@Axelvaldmr in addition this this mine also has "\"KilledOnDay\":{\"29\":1}}" after the playerkilled 1 or 0. so I am going to try removing that as well.

There is No Health 0.0 near wtf. Please help. I even tried pasting the health inside cause i see its missing between 2 commands. Still doesnt work. Kelvin is now not dead anymore but knocked on the ground but theres no option to revive him :((((((((

@@majormanoyolo2201 i had the same problem but by typing the exact same letters at 2:09 in this video. heres how i did it. right after stats\":{ it goes straight to \"Anger that where you need to insert the command \"Health\":100.0, after that it should look like this Stats\":{\"Health\":100.0,\"Anger then follow the rest of the steps in the video. for whatever reason the game deletes \"Health\":100.0, from the game files. hope this helps

this doesnt work anymore. Just tried it and they've zipped the save folder. If you extract and then edit the files and then open the game the Save is gone. Luckily I saved the orignal folder.

it does work, you need winrar or 7zip installed, and selecting all the files use "ADD TO ARCHIVE" then select ZIP as the file option, and BAM! good to go!

I had to do this, except changing the x coordinates position instead of whether Kelvin was alive or dead. Because he was stuck walking into a rock at the bottom of a lake... the dumbass.
I tryed using word document it won’t let me change the files as when I do it keeps going back to what it was even after saving my computer dosnt have note pad I can’t even download note pad

My friend killed kelvin now I’ve tried to do it, at first kelvin was on state of being revived I typed the health 100.0 and he would come out of it, Tried it again and now he’s not there. Like he wasn’t there at all. Help!

I did everything exactly but now my saved game gets stuck on the loading screen :/
If you made a backup of your save like I showed to do in the video I would just delete the new tampered with save file and then paste the old backup in. Alternatively if you didn’t make a backup go into the notepad where you changed stuff and just change all the things back to how they were before you changed them. Sorry to hear this thoe I hope this helps

@@jassontan1227 I found this discord of sons of the forest and in the forum channel there was a mod that allows you to customize everything it's a lot easier than this method plus you have everything there Incase your game bugs out or lost smt
This does not work. Upon doing what the video describes, not only does Kelvin not spawn, but Virgina goes away as well...

For anyone looking for a solution... what I did was this; once you edit the code in the video towards the end, it will delete both virgina and kelvin (for whatever reason). I downloaded thunderstore, cloned kelvin, and ran the command to resummon virginia's first interaction. Not how I wanted to do it, but it worked.
This doesn't actually work any more.
you have to know both character entire save data code from your game save
then reinput it in the correct place for the second part. first par replaces them but not there save data or interactable data info
both npcs die in the dumbest ways( hopefully in 2 days they will fix that crap( especialt the log pile killing them)
when they are about you have to be extra carefull around them.
check on them often. and when cannable are mas spawn you have to run up to kelvin and tell him to go hide
you also now have to have At least 2 saves with them alive. if they die you have to go to a back up. save
wish i read ur comment earlier. Now my virginia and kelvin have vanished :(
@@gamer_doctor in order to get em back you have to wemod. if your on pc.
if your on console your fudged and have to start a new game
after your in save file(with wemod running)

(make sure you use cleardead 1 if you know where their bodies are)
(use virginiasentiment command to refix what ever her sentiment was or just 100 it)
( you may also have to respawn in unlocks you had for em)
( i also recomend using settimeofday 7:00 after doing this so you don't waste one of your days)
save the game
close it out> restart game and open save game>
if you don't like playing with mods close wemod and don't launch it
( btw the only 4 mods actually work in the game currently, that don't crash the game. one being a dev console)
run game normally both kelvin and Virginia will be back>
as long as you cleared their orginall dead bodies and reattached their gear( and sentiment to Virginia)
it will be like nothing ever happened to them in your save file.
continue playing normally.
i use it all the time because they keep dying for the dumbest reasons... they are seriously bugged( i have an actual safe house for both.)
to set them back to where i had em.

oh and i almost forgot if you on multiplayer server make sure every person agrees to let the host ( or a person who knows how to dev console) do this
because you can get banned by some people for using mods. Okay
theres only 3 files in the folder for the world and none of them are .json
You need to open the one that is called "SaveData". I'm not sure if you can open it by extracting it but if you have something like WinRAR you just open it and you will find all of the files in it.

Make sure you click at the very top of the notes and then search for it. It’s default set to “search down” so wherever your cursor is clicked in the notes it will only search for the words from there down. Hope this helps.
I also have the line you need to copy exactly how it should be in the description if you wanna copy and paste that in case you didn’t type it in right.
@@Get_To_It There's a rare case when you copy your files over from a friend's server (not the server files, just the player files) to your own server, and you spawn in with your own gear and location but no base, no Kelvin and no Virginia. It completely omits their existence on that server, even if you've already progressed to where you have them safe and affectionate. Would appreciate Kelvin's original code like how you pinned Virginia. My world is empty without that deaf idiot.

@@gummyhd5291 How? After I edited “GameStateSaveData”, saved, and closed it down. I opened that file again and it reset “isrobbydead” to true again.
