As a gay woman growing up in the 80’s there was a lot of shame templating encoded in my body that this work has helped me release. Also it has helped with abuse pathways. Wow the whole time you were speaking about this brought me back to the time I took 4 aco-dmt with my partner and we made love. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I got to share with him. It truly felt like a blend of our energies. I just think about describing it and can only think about it as poetry. It's really physical, emotional and spiritual feeling. And we did all of this things without knowing about it, I felt we were guided by our spirits and of course the vehicle that allowed us was the 4 aco. We somehow were fully given to each other, there was a strange feeling of tenderness (that I haven't felt with r sex) and pure love for our bodies, eye gazing happened more than reg sex. It is beautiful to find out about what tantra is. I wish I still be with my partner so I could show him this video. My partner passed away this year, and this video brought back the memory of this beautiful expirience.

Sacred sexuality teaches us to honour the body as a temple of spirit
I had no idea I was practicing tantra but it evolved after meeting a past life soul mate and was a natural extension of who we were. Delicious is absolutely the correct word! Once you have experienced it you ABSOLUTELY can not return to just sex. It truly alters your mind and body to where the connection is what is the most relevant.

I've had body image issues my entire life. It has only been in the last 2 years that I've really felt love for myself and a deep spiritual sexual and emotional love with my partner. I have not felt with anyone the way I feel with him. We have experienced deep spiritual moments and were in such awe. We are currently on a break in order to heal issues and trauma from other relationships. We set a date to reunite, but I'm currently feeling a deep sense of loss and grief. It's necessary to heal these things separately, which will make us better people. I am currently microdosing because my grief is exerbated by another loss I'm in counseling for. I'm am working really hard on honoring my body.

I was literally telling my friend that I felt a disconnect from my body. Like mind and body are living separate . This explains it kinda. I think I finally understand what my body has been trying to tell me ; for so long .
I've been experiencing some of this with a partner (3-7) hours & didn't even know what it was. People thought i was crazy when i told them how long sex lasted but it didn't seem all that long to us. I just thought it was a strong chemistry, I'm wishing to experiencing more of this fully on an even deeper level with a willing partner.

@sarahadair5890 definitely not, I've only ever known one person who talked about actually having hours-long sex and they were practicing tantra. 20 minutes is the average duration for most hetero-sexual PIV sex. That's based on a study in the UK but I'd guess it's similar in the US, since people are people everywhere :)

Could practice solo Or with a partner. Master that sexual energy before you share it with anyone Sacred: the potential to take you somewhere. Into a union with divine.
Sacred sexuality: the practice of embodying the highest expression of divine love.
Tantra: Everything is sacred. Everything is spirit. Including your body, sex. Honor the body as a temple of spirit. Come in deep connection with divine through sexuality. Matter is nothing to be transcended.
Differences:
1. Not for self-gratification. eg. orgasm. Your goal is not to get off.
2. Through bonding. Your chakras docking with each other. That accelerates the connection with divine.
3. Energy movement. Genitals + 2nd chakra. Energy moves up the chakras. Especially the heart chakra.
4. Ecstatic orgasm. It can last for hours. The orgasmic energy reenergizes the body.
5. Expanded state of consciousness.
How to practice (solo or with a partner):
1. Honor your body. My body is the temple of my soul in this lifetime. I clear all the templates that dishonor or demean my body. Eat well, sleep well, exercise well. Like maintenance of a car.
2. Pick the right partner. A partner that is not prepared for sacred sex. A partner at the same state of consciousness. Sacred sexuality can be scary.
Questions:
a. Is the partner interested in going deeper?
b. Is the partner spiritual?
c. Can the partner match your level of consciousness?
d. Is the partner interested in exploring sacred sexuality?
3. Drop wall. Demanding. It requires authenticity. 100% yourself. I'm not in sacred sexuality until I allow myself to be fully seen. Shame, criticism, judgments, masks, armoring - a layer of separation between me and God.
4. Intend to connect. Annointing (Ceremony). Eye gazing.
5. Engage the senses. Slow and deliberate. Stroking, touch. Aroma and incenses to engage smell, strawberries and chocolate to engage taste, lush sheets to engage texture. Kundalini energy. Touching. Multi-sensory experience. Move energy in the body with your hands. Foreplay is important.
6. Move energy up. Delay orgasm. Touch. Consciousness awareness. Up to the heart and above.
7. Nesting. Stay connected with your partner or divine. Stroking, eye gazing, cuddle, talk. Feminine energy needs nesting to feel secure.

I have been wanting to explore more abut tantra and how to really hone in on my divine energies, both masculine and feminine and this helped cleared a lot of the uncertainties I've had when practicing this with myself. I've been experiencing this for 4-5 years, started while focusing on my energy when i went to sleep for dream and astral purposes. Sometimes last all night in and out of sleep, I'd wake up and would still be there. Had no idea what that energy was but is great.

Tantra has been around a long time, but it wasn't until 800 years ago that something translatable was found. Kashmir Shaivism is based on the translation of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.
The "sexual energy" you talk about is the creative force. It's the energy you feel. We call this Shakti Shivers!
Just know, that in the Vijnana Bhairava there are only two of the 112 sutras that mention sex. So Tantra is NOT SEX! At all! It's a method of meditation designed to be the most direct path to consciousness. Through direct experience.
