It is so cool that the singer says "give me the fire", not waiting for trial or misfortune...but holding to the things "we need" , and counting all the rest as loss.

Timothy Aldridge Exactly, I'm an audio engineer and I don't hear auto tune. And also I've been in their studio, they don't use auto tune
Actually sounds more to me like they put effects on his voice in concert to achieve a particular sound rather than autotuning for pitch corrections sake. It sounds to deliberate...
Switchfoot is one of the hardest working bands in show business! Love these guys!
You guys have to be one of the best sounding live bands out there. I have never seen an "off" Switchfoot show before!
I saw Switchfoot at the Indiana State Fair and it was by far the best concert I have ever seen. They brought a fan on stage who wanted to play with them on Awakening. Never saw a band do that or make you feel like you're apart of the band. God has His hand on these guys for sure

Where The Light Shines Through album played in my moms car on repeat, this was our favorite song to sing together on car rides, I like to think she passed listening to this song. I'll always miss her, and this song will always move me, any live Switchfoot song will always bring me to tears, together we went to nearly 30 shows together. Our Last show together, September 28th,2016 in Detroit has been one of my most memorable. Switchfoot you are true artists, you some of the nicest most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the joy you have brought to me and my families lives, Thank You.

When I first read the title back @release I wasn't sure about it. Then I listened, then I heard it live & recently, experienced it live. Switchfoot/Jon have been at the top of my playlist for what, nearly 20 yrs? There are musicians & then there is Switchfoot. A class above! 😍 Grateful for the light they shine on this world (and mine) thank you! 💕

Its crazy man! Even during the fastest or heaviest songs people are just existing there. A much heavier band, Anberlin, is the same. Shows in the US have calm crowds, whereas shows here have people bringing the venue to the ground.
